Kirby, sounds great.. but why are you not wiring it up so the power is only supplied when the key is on ?, so you don't have to ever worry about battery drain. Jeff

Thanks for the info Brian ! So would you be able to run this on the AUX setting with the GPS and the sound would come from both? Is there a duel adapter to plug into the amp wire under the fairing or something? Thanks, Jeff

Rick, are you triked?
-
I do use the short filter.
-
Nice Job Rick.. what paint did you use? will I see that in July?
-
Leo, we don't have much choice in the matter that our bikes are straight up on a level surface do we? anyways, there is no way I can get 4 Qts into my trike. seems to be real happy with 3 in it now. and the site glass even sitting for 3 days still shows to the middle of glass.

Kind of what I was thinking as well Bob.. That bike tho seems to be at the same hight as before.. anyways from now on I am adding just 3 Qts... If you add 3.5 then there is a real mess under there. did a 300 mile trip over the weekend and seem to be just fine with the 3 in it. learn something new all the time !! Jeff

Jay, So when I ask next year please remember

(.003 to .007) I find that .004 over the past 3 years is the best setting. I think I also will try to place a star washer under the 10MM bolt the next time around. Jeff

The oil filter tightens over time. just thought the bolt thing at the end would be nice to be able to loosen it with a open end wrench. I know how tight to install an oil filter when new. it is the removing it that is sometimes a problem.

Has anybody seen or heard from GunnyButch In a while? Last I see is that his last post was 2010... He had just had that awesome paint Job done on his Trike... Thanks, Jeff

Maybe this has been around for a long time? ( the bolt on the bottom of the filter) [ame=http://www.amazon.com/KN-204-Motorcycle-Powersports-Performance-Filter/dp/B000E2CVI8/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_i]Amazon.com: K&N KN-204 Motorcycle/Powersports High Performance Oil Filter: Automotive@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Q8P2EBL7L.@@AMEPARAM@@41Q8P2EBL7L[/ame] I just think it is a great idea.. this above link might not be the correct filter for your bike.. I just had to show these K&N's Jeff
