  2. Robbie, I figured out just today that I went from about 36 mpg to 29.5 mpg now, But ya know.... I really do not care! I am just loving the new experience I am getting out of this change! Jeff
  3. I am sure the new 660 Will have the Rubber Protector Flip Cover on the cradle. I used to have mine with the key shut off, but changed it to HOT-WIRE! I like that much better, when I need the Zumo off I just hit the off button on the Zumo. Jeff
  4. Yes, I paid $7,500.00 for my (00) RSV with 3,200 miles on it. And the same guy Turned around bought my little Honda VLX 600 for $3,500.00,,,, So in return I got my (00) for $4,000.00 ......
  5. thanks for the picture. So strange I was just wondering what or if I could even get to the LEDS yesterday, now I know! Just had mine installed last month. Also had to order a primed one to get the mm color paint match. If you get at the right angle they seem to be bright enough. but other wise I think they could have made them brighter. Walt please keep us informed on what you find. Jeff
  6. Annie, Does your Installer offer a rake kit as well when they add the conversion? If your not sure asked them.

  16. Thanks For the great tip dragerman
  17. Nice,,. that would be the kind of thing I would do as well. what size is that wrench you modified? It would be 1/2 inch ! I guess *lol* looking up at the start of the thread.
  18. Freebird did this a while back, I am sure he will chime in on this in a bit.. hang tight ! I just looked at his install , but it does not say anything about how he tightened them up. I think I will be doing this soon as well. Jeff
  19. Gil, Just got out of the shower.. nope she did not go in with me. she just had a bath. can not wax her rear until June. (paint still curing) anyways.. I got the Trunk Pod moved back and even moved the rear seat back just a tad. gatta find e few nuts and bolts to finish her up! I think that is all the problems now. (TWO) so far. but not to bad for a first time build at my dealer. they say this will happen on there first one they do on a new kit. Thank You to ALL of you for your HELP today! You saved my butt! Jeff
  20. I was thinking the same thing Squeeze:scratchchin:
  21. Neal and Bill, I did jack the trike up crawled under there and sure enough there are extra holes.. I moved the backrest back , had to add some taller Rubber washers bolted it down and had the wife sit on it and she is OK with it now. THANKS! :happy65:Problem Solved. what a great bunch of folks ,,,and INTERNET in the garage really does help Now to find that staple gun.. glad I didn't remove all the staples sure looks pretty under that cover though. there is even a plastic cover (like a shower cap) over the padding in there. Jeff
  22. BILL ?? so I can go to another set of holes? Ummmmmm maybe that is what they did.. they had to remove the trunk to place the new body.. looking for another set of holes now. Thanks, half inch would help, still have not cut on backrest yet *lol*
  23. That was might first thought. I think that if I made the re-drilled holes in the trunk I could move it back but only about a half inch if that. What is strange is that the trunk is still on the same brackets that it was mounted to before. There was a false fender added, and I could move the seat back but the backrest pushes her back forward.. I have the backrest off now and the cover. all I need is a carving knife *LOL*
  24. Yep *LOL* I gatta do some Butler carving now on the lower part of the backrest.. wonder what kind of stapler he uses? Ummmmmm
