  6. I went from a 750 Seca to a first gen then to the 2nd gen and you can do it but as Brad mentioned just be aware. Personally I believe if you are taller these bikes are easier to handle, note I said easier I did not say easy. Welcome and Enjoy what ever you purchase. (500 is too small for you and the missus) Brad

  10. In Ontario we don't need to get to 100 mph to see a huge fine. Anything over 50 KPH or 30 MPH (see below). Brad The legislation includes tough measures for those who choose to race (anything above 30 mph) on Ontario’s roads, including higher fines and longer suspensions: The maximum fine increases from $1,000 to $10,000 upon conviction for street racing, making it the highest penalty in Canada. The minimum fine increases from $200 to $2,000. Police can issue an immediate seven-day driver’s licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment for street racing, participating in a driving contest or stunt driving. Courts can impose a driver licence suspension of up to 10 years for a second conviction, if the second conviction occurs within 10 years of the first. For a first conviction, the maximum licence suspension period remains at 2 years.
  11. Scot welcome to the site, and I can do the math and understand. However there is always risks people take and some will loose. I just want to say 57 in a 55 that is just not right. Maybe in certain areas but on the open road, sorry. Brad

  16. The mic needs to be longer when using a half helmut and I do not believe these are made in the 8154 series. The next step up is model 279, more money and better sound. ONe more up but doubt they are that much better for the price. Brad
  17. Yah but this Google is a Don's special one Brad
  18. If this fellow and his buds have that much time to find out what 800 million people are doing all the power to him. I can find something better to do with my time. And if big brother is watching he too is wasting his time as I am not doing anything wrong. It may be a the wrong attitude but I don't have time to worry about it. Although I do have an idea what you are saying. Brad
  19. I am not that tecnical and would just use a multimeter Brad
  20. HAHA there you go again about this Google thing Brad
  21. Depends on what you want to do. Listen to music requires a better set and there is a few brands you can choose. If it is just to talk and listen through the bikes system then the cheap J&M is best money for your buck. Goldwing uses the same 5 pin connector however J&M have different part numbers for honda nad Yamaha which are almost the same thing but have the same 5 pins and work. PS Welcome and congrats on the new purchase. Brad
  22. Hope you had a great day. brad
  23. My 08 and Naugh-T's 08. Brad
