    Took the bike for a ride last night with the wife, about 50 miles. Cleaned the shock off before I left. Got home looked at it and nothing was dripping from it. Let it sit over night and still nothing. Then I got to thinking, could it have been oil from the over flow tube that sprayed onto the shock. I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on friday for about 2 hours in the heat. Could my oil have over flowed a little and spayed onto the shock after I got going again?

    I wiped up the spot on the garage floor lastnight before I went to bed and I just checked it and the spot is as big as it was lastnight. How much oil is in there?

    My rear shock just started leaking, 2000 rsv with about 20,000 miles on it. How long can i ride on it before I need to replace it? Cash flow is low.. And what's it going to cost to replace it?

    It almost sounds like your select button is loose or stuck. And maybe vibrating and messing things up. Spray some contact cleaner in the button and push it a bunch of times to try and free it. then turn it back on and see if it still does it.

    I had heard that the motor in the venture was a Harley design that yamaha bought from them when they were going under with AMF. Is this true?

    Just a thought, I had a cart when I was kid. right side drive. when you turned left hard at would bog the motor cause all the weight was transferd to the drive wheel on the right. Maybe some thing like this is happening to you. I would take the drive chain or belt off and run it turn the wheels and see if it does any thing. Jacking it up might be a scaring thing to do.

    What side is the drive on? Or is it in the middle? do you have a picture of the cart?

    My intercom is on all the time. The wife and I don't have to push the PTT at all. Is that how it works, or is some thing wrong with my intercom?

    You only put in the info you want people to see. So no need to worry about some one getting your info. As for friends I only friend people I know, like high school friends and the people I go to college with. Then I just block all the game stuff and the "join my cause" stuff. It's a lot of fun talk to people I haven't seen sence grade school and what they are doing now... you can always delete your profile

    Isn't the plug under the seat used for the battery tender? Thats what I used mine for over the winter.

    Does any one have the two paint codes for the 2000 red two-tune venture. I need to know witch red is the top and witch red is the bottom. I'm having a custom fishing rod made in that color. :cool10::cool10:
