    I'm looking for a good service manual. I've found clymer and the factory one. What one would be more practical for home use. I'm not going to tear my venture down and rebuild it, just do the basic stuff. I'm also adding some LED lights to it and maybe a louder horn. Maybe a running light kit also..

    Ok, heres one more ? What if I keep my bulbs and wire in some LED lights to them. would that work as well? Sorry if I'm asking to much but I'm new to all this and don't want to mess up my bike...

    Do they still turn off on they're own? I've heard that with some led lights you lose that...

    My door also wont stay closed. Is there an easy fix for his with out taking the faring apart? I use the MP3 player.

    Got BUBs on my 2000 venture. bike sounds like a big V8. i love the rumble... My bubby rides a very quite goldwing, i love sitting next to him at the stop lights and revving up my bike hahahahahahaha

    Check her volume on the left side of the rear armrest. My wife bumped the knob and turned it down and same thing happend... Also check the IC volume in the radio. I turned mine down by mistake.

    I paid the 48 bucks for a membership, then found out that I'd have to BUY a back patch for 38 bucks. No way will I pay for one of those. They should give you one! I've not joined a chapter yet and don't think I will. Save your cash for other things.

    So it is normal to hear the whine. I think I'll use the "Turbo Waste Gate" line if any one asks about it..

    I have a 2000 venture and it whines. Why do they whine? Can this be fixed?

    I got my J&M headsets from Sierra Electronics and they work great. Got the ones that came with the cable to plug into the bike. 80 bucks a piece.. :thumbsup2:
