  1. Just follow Sarges46 advise. You can count on it being right... (cuz Marilyn showed him how to do it)
  2. I am running Ride-on in my company trucks and have used in in all my scoots over the past 6-8 years. The truck tire stuff is much thicker than the MC. In the work we do, we spend a lot of time in junk /salvage yards with our trucks. Used to get at least 1 or 2 flats a month on the trucks. But since adding the Ride-on last year, no more flats. Have pulled several nails, screws etc from the tires, but no flats. Just my 2 cents worth here. But I will never run a MC or my work trucks without it.
  3. ROTFLMAO. Been there, done that. Learned the hard way that the tank rack was not there to ride on....
  4. Dan, You can probably run the car without the mass air flow sensor. I wouldn't recommend it, but you could do it if you don't mind lousy gas mileage, fouled plugs and valves, shortened mileage between oil changes and fouled cat converters.... Just my 2 cents here.

Good to see you back on the site Bob. Had the best intentions in the world to stop in and see you at the hospital in Grand Forks. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, it was not to be.
  6. Probably a snorten Norten. 1 up and 3 down... You Yanks never did appreciate any of the other Brit Bykes.
  7. But the memories will remain long after the thread is deleted...
  8. As long as we're throwing out location suggestions. How about up in the Shuswap area?
  9. And moving right along.... Anyone know what the weather is like in Western Canada???
  10. In another life...
  11. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, Western Canada. Isn't that all wheat fields and sink holes? BTW. Parlent-ils même anglais dehors là?
  12. Brad, you could probably double the donations if the offer was for the largest donor to tell you WHERE the Tats would be....
  13. Let me offer our sincere apologies to our Canadian members. September 18, slipped right by us and no one even bothered to mention that it was the 249th anniversary of the British defeat of the French for the control of Canada. A very auspicious day for the Canadians. Now, according to the Honeraby Lloyd Axworthy (who I fent to school with) that next year, on the 250th anniversary, they are finally going to tell the French...
  14. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/eng/lol5.gif . As long as you have a valid title, any Harley, regardless of condition, is a rebuilder if you have the "right" connections. In fact, if you send the neck with the VIN inprint back to HD, they will sell you a replacement frame stamped with the same VIN number.
  15. Jim, Our thoughts are with you and your family in this time of sorrow. Russell
  16. Lowell (the ambassador) arrived in Laporte yesterday afternoon. I am still packing, but should be leaving in about an hour. Will have to stop and pick up the guest of honor... and then continue on up to Gary's. Looking at getting there around noonish.... Wayne, Let me know when you folks are going to do the colour tour. Will try and get back up for it. Ride safe everyone. See you all at Gary's...
  17. Ouch!!! You sure you don't have me confused with someone running for pubic office...
  18. What else could one expect from someone born in 1966...
  19. Regina? I thought that was a body part... Regardless, the chili will be waiting for you...
  20. Now that really sucks... Went out and had the 12 string re-strung and tuned just for you. Now we are going to have to let Rick play it. And what am I going to do with all the Fat Tire??? Hey, I just thought of something. Minnesoda is on the way to Denver. Maybe you could talk the company into letting you fly out early, Route through Minni, lay over for the week end, and then travel on to Denver... That would work for us, and including a week end on the travel might even get you a lower air fare... Hey, I'm trying here... Seriously though Dan, we will miss you . You are always fun to be around...
  21. Sure, it's easy for him. He's on;y playing 6 stings and wearing a kilt... But it's still a great song. I was working in Spain when it came out and it was a big hit in all the clubs. There was another one that came out about the same time that was just as funny. I believe the title was "Waitress, oh waitress." Squidly, as an old swabby (and don't be passing that crap that you were only 12) , you may remember that one also. Will have to see if I can google it.
  22. I'm disillusioned. I thought you knew them by heart...
  23. That be it. Now all I need is the sheet music. But ain't it a great philosophy for life? :rotfl: Rented a PT Cruiser a couple of weeks ago. That car should have been produced with deep tint windows so your friends and neighnors couldn't see you driving it. Brought this song back to mind. And Rooster, isn't the chorus the theme for all rallys?
  24. axe wackers by any chance have the sheet music for the song "Let's do something cheap and superficial"? This is by Burt Reynolds from the sound track of Smokey and the Bandit. Thanks much
  25. Geez, I thought you folks up there could get everything one needed at Ukrainian Tire...
