I'd be real careful about the Speedo in this heat. You can end up with a real nasty heat rash in places you shouldn't scratch in public.
-
Just relax and enjoy the trip Lowell. I'll keep the ladies entertained until you get there.
-
Not to worry Sailor, if you get half way to Cody, the rest of the trip is all down hill..... and you can just coast it. (see that. I got by without saying "Sailor" and "cruisin" in the same sentence"

Canada Tire, Princess Auto (if they are still in business) or any other tool supplier should have a set of Security Torx bits.

Whenever I have the option, I will take 212 West. As I said, it's a great highway and seems too be the bikers choice in the summer.

For the adventureous who try my Gates of Hell salza in the chili, there ain't enough ice cream in the world.

14 is good also. For a more scenic route you could drop off 212 at Belle Fouche and take 90 to Buffalo. Then 16 to 10Sheep. At 10 Sheep pick up the 10 Sheep- Hyattville Road (Cty 49) into Cody. The Big Horns can present a bit of a problem, but going this route the highest point is the Powder River pass. 10,000 feet. From there, it's all down hill

If you're not locked into superslabbing it... You might want to consider going 212. A great highway, light traffic and very few LEO's.

Arms Rests? Yah sure you won't be looking for a seat again this year??? Sorry Allan. Just couldn't resist. Looking forward to seeing you guys in Cody.

Man, you ain't heard nothing yet. Just wait until the weeping and wailing starts.....

I realize that anyone taking part in the Chili Slap Down is going to feel quite intimidated going up against my World Famous Black Owl Chili. Winner of the first VentureRider Chili Cook Off at Potato Creek and voted best chili at the Pork in the Pines Pig Roast five years running. So, too try and make them feel better, I have spent the entire week-end working on a new chili. Unfortunately, all I seemed to do was make it even better. But hey, I tried..... :rotfl: See yah in a week..... and be ready to have your socks knocked off.....

Maybe we can get together for coffee or breakfast in Bismarck. I will be at the Motel 6 (if they leave the light on for me). Then heading for Glendive, MT and down into Cody. Unless something happens on the road, going to try and get to Cody Saturday night.

Dang, what is going on is Bismarch next week end. Had to try 4 motels before i could book a room at the Motel 6. Sure hope they leave the light on for me.

Okay... Will be heading out from here (Apple Valley, MN) about noon Friday, July 22. Will be trailering. Heading across on I-94. Should overnight around Bismarck, NoDak. Saturday morning to Glendive, MT. and then into Cody.

Had exactly the same problem with my computer. Fortunately, I had most of my data backed up on external hard drives. Ended up having to reformat, and even that did not completely cure the problem. Ended up buying a new computer. I also have a program that will recover photos. It works, believe me. Not all that expensive, and you can buy it on a down load. Also, just sent you an Email to the MR address. Let me know if you don't get it. CFAS4U@Charter.net

Vic, want I should bring my cones with me to Cody? :stirthepot:

Heck, I was practicing those kinds of maneuvers with the Virago last week end. Took out a few more cones than he did... but it was still a fun, learning experience.
