    You install a current limiting resistor, it's value 2000 to 3000 ohms in series. Connect one end of the resistor to the probe lead and the other end of the resistor to the 12 volt accessory line...

    That's personal preference as to organic or metallic, the organic are less abrasive, quieter and less grabby whereas semi metallic have more aggressive braking. You also want to add stainless steel brake lines to your setup, they alone make a huge difference in effectiveness...
