    Hey big Tom. The Hearth sounds good to us if you want to meet us there around 11. We did check out Hamburg rv but they didnt have what we were looking for. We are looking at a motorhome at a place called southern truck and rv so after we check it out we can meet you there. They do have ice cream right? See you this weekend. Mike and T

    Tina and I are headed to springville on saturday to look at a motorhome and we were wondering if anyone in the area could recommend a good restaurant where maybe we could have a small meet and eat. I know that there are people in the area that LOVE to eat. (especially ice cream) any takers ? I know I said the magic words so no stampedes please. Thanks Mike

    Thanks everyone for all the help. There is so much research to do on these things and so far only the ones on bus chassis' seen to have good reviews as far as longevity and quality of build. Timgray; We thought of that route and it is alot cheaper but T has hip problems and with a class a she can get up and move around a bit. We will keep digging and with help from the fine folks on this site eventually we will figure out what we are doing. Thanks again everyone. Mike and T

    thanks for the info everyone i am an automotive and diesel mechanic so repairs and service will be done by me so that is not an issue. we dont care if it is gas or diesel they are both going to get lousy mileage. we plan on buying it now so it will be paid off by time we retire then we are going to live in it full time. south in winter north in summer. maybe even be able to trailer the trike to fort collins or some of the other farther meet and eats as we only get a weeks vacation and they are too far to ride to in just a week. Eck; looking at a campground is a good idea only they are all closed up here for the season, so we will look in the spring, we are in no hurry to buy one. thanks again mike and t

    Tina and I are looking at buying a class a motorhome in the 35ft + range and we haven't a clue what it good or bad. We have read all the reviews and they are very conflicting so we figured we would ask you folks here as we know many of you own them and are not afraid to voice your opinion honestly.     yes don it is supposed to work in 4th gear also. i have been trying to figure out why mine dosent work in 4th either. the dealer has no idea and i cant figure it out either. every now and then while accelerating through 4th my resume light will come on for a second but it never stays on. if you figure it out will you please post it because i am at a loss. if i find out what it is ill post it on here. thanks. mike

    Tina and I are home safe and sound. We would like to say thanks to Big Tom and Taters for a great time. There was good company, good food and a nice dry ride. A big thank you goes out to pioneer motorsports for for being such a good dealer and letting us sleep in their side yard. It was wonderful to meet so many new (and interesting) people. I still say that one will never meet a better bunch of people than those on this site. A big thank you goes out to Don for creating this site which allows us all to get together. Thanks again to everyone who helped put it all together we had a wonderful time. Mike and T

    It looks like we wont be making it to Dons this weekend as the trike is in the shop getting the cruise repaired and hopefully getting rid of the whine in the engine. We hope everyone has a great time as always at Dons and hopefully the pond monster will not make an appearance this year. ride safe everyone. Mike and T

    I've had mine around watkins glen several times and the stock rsv does quite well through the corners with avons on. I even had a couple of crotch rocket riders say that they didn't know you could do that kind of cornering on a full dresser. Not to mention how much fun it is to pass crotch rocket in the middle the corners. It sounds like you had a great time.
