  1. Randy, Kinda funny that valves was the only thing not done.... "seems to be common" around here lately. By all means run a search on "valves" and see some great information by (Vgoose7)(spelling?) and some other not so great advice. Welcome to the site and there is no such thing as a stupid question.
  2. I'd like to think Benny Hill (British Guy) was a detective show (he always found trouble) and seen lots of police uniforms with garters and other unmentionables. LOL
  3. My RSV 2008 has "THE" 4 digit number on the underside of the gas cap chrome cover. Slide it to the left and a small mirror and flashlite can help see it. Hope this helps and good luck.
  4. My 2008 RSV book says 26,600mi or 42,000km. Friends don't let friends miss valve adjustments especially if wanting to get over 150,000 miles and will never sell it and run it until massive death. Good Luck...
  5. Nice Pics Peggy.
  6. I have had NGK Spark Plugs old and (new out of box) that would "IDLE" smoothly all day long then when upped the rpms the plug would stop firing until back to IDLE ((How did I know this U ask? Yamaha Outboard, Boat, Engine cover off, air cleaner off and can of Carb Cleaner and assistant driver)). SO far my NGK Iridiums have not done this (fingers crossed & Time......) Best of all do not need a local dealer to do this. Good Luck
  7. Hmmmmm? When I first saw it I thought you strapped in the front tire and some side straps and the rear tire was suppose to stay on the ground and be pulled. I DON"T KNOW!!! Again you can get a Tractor Supply 5'x10' with 2"x6" Wooden floor and has 18" sidewalls too $999.00. I use mine for 101 things too. This comes with a standard 2" Hitch (unlike the 1.5" hitch in the HF). DO NOT get the Steel Mesh floor (those welds pop left and right - dangerous IMHO). Good Luck Pastor
  8. They should be able too. The WHO IS domain registered to Don has nothing to with "John" in Asia and his attempt to hustle a fraudulent buck. One word Don ...... DELETE
  9. Godspeed healing to those left behind, he is in a better place.
  10. Sorry no link but MC-Sporting goods and other stores carry what they call a "Beach Chair" same as others but "shorty legs". Very comfy once in, but getting in and out make you realize how old your getting.
  11. Agree dress for the Slide not the Ride
  12. Not sure where Dave got the Traffic Law quote from? The QUOTE is telling me I'm pulling a camper across FLA or ANY STATE for that matter. And I have 5 miles of "OTHER" vehicles behind me and the road is 2 lanes of legal passing for as far as the eye can see and is straight and flat for many miles around and I have to make a left hand turn onto another side road and I signal to turn left and ALL (5 miles of vehicles) behind decide to pass me on the left instead of slow down and yield so I can turn I would have to wait until they all passed me? IMHO that is BULL... be it just one motorcycle or 500 other vehicles. I WOULD NOT KNOWINGLY turn in front of them either!!! Another case of scap-goating normal people because he was rich and famous? :no-no-no:

  16. Been there in 2003 back when we had tents with no HEAT or AC. I help setup the internet for K-Har back in the day. I'm sure it is better now (slightly) . Enjoying my last few months of riding before heading to "Other Sanbox". Hope it is all I said it was back at MD-2009. Good luck
  17. 1. Zero psi in front forks 2. 35 to 45 psi in rear shock 3. There is in the TECH LIBRARY "Lower front end 1" Just need tools and time. 30" Inseam hmmmm the 1" lower above (free) a Rick Butler Seat Mod (see classifieds) and get M/C Boots that give ya 1 or 2 inches of heel. Good Luck
  18. Find a trusted RSV Buddy (One with Insurance too...LOL) and swap bikes and then share experience. You might have found that the "slight pulling to the left or right" has moved with the driver. Also follow up if need be by swapping driver seats too. I know this sounds like Monday a.m. Quarterbacking but should help others BEFORE the spend lots of time and $$$. Good Luck
  19. Should be able to. I have a MP3 Player w/ 1/8" Jack into RSV works great. Somebody above asked can you hear MP3 Music thru your earphones when not attached to RSV? This will determine if you have a functional MP3 Player! The RSV is basically a Big External Speaker when in AUX and AUX Volume is turned UP!
