    Black Owl......Down here Rolling Thunder sponsors the Annual "Run To The Wall" in Washington DC every Memorial Day. This year the bikes filled the Pentagon Parking Lot and the last I heard was the number exceeded 800,000 riders this year. Welcome Home Brother...... and please convey my heartfelt thanks to all those who served with us in the Nam. Boomer.........Riding For Hero's and never forgetting Nam Brothers lost.

    There seemed to be a lot of GOOD on TV and the MOVIES when I was growing up. Over the years a lot of that GOOD was lost and replaced with minimal talented CRAP IMHO. Boomer....who watches the TV collect dust and has not been to a Movie Theater in the last 10 years.....and has no regrets.

    The scoot and I looked like we were doing the Tango on the asphalt for sure......... Boomer.......who knows there are no soft curves to grab onna Venture as compared to a woman............. And jest fer Yammer Dan: I really don't think being onna 1st Gen would have made much difference in the MOVES I made .....or the language I used. I'm glad I wasn't rolling by a Church picnic when all hell broke loose......

    Sure glad you folks walked away from this one! Expect the soreness to set in but you can live with that hopefully. Boomer........who knows nothing will run your "Pucker Factor" off the scale faster that a darn deer trying to mug you.....and ruin perfectly good underwear too.

    So there I am cruising along at 70+mph with my feet up on the road pegs just having myself a good old time. Next thing I know it feels like I'm getting shot with a pellet gun all along my right leg from the knee down to the ankle!! It would seem that I managed to catch TWO yellow jacket wasps with my flapping right pants leg. Them little boogers nailed me about 15-20 times before I was able to stop the scoot and end their sadistic lives. Boomer........who surely looked like a monkey humping a football on that scoot for at least 40 seconds today.

    I heard that place is awesome! Wished I lived close enough to visit and enjoy the food. I'm just too far away..... Boomer.....who's been in places where beer bottles are thrown but never rolls.

    A friend of mine has the Vance & Hines BUBS on his Venture and they are not real loud.... until ya romp on the throttle. Boomer.....who's running the 4-2-4's on the Scalded Ape and enjoys scaring the hell out of the squirrels thank you very much.

    The Pro's here say it is due to (1) the cut of the gears in the tranny....and (2)the clutch basket. Solution: (1)Have the Dealer install a "I" clutch basket......or (2)you can drown the whine with loud pipes and loud music, or (3) loud wimmen. Boomer.....who has the first two and is trying to chase down the third.

    I'm hearing great things about that 2820....Feels like a GPS upgrade coming soon for me. Boomer......who's wondering how the hell he will be able to push all them buttons.... and keep the scoot on the road.....and wave at the pretty wimmen as well. Multi-tasking my a$$........

    I'll mourn for Farrah.....Got a 3 day suspension from school for having her famous poster inside my locker at HS.....and I refused to hand it over to a leering,drooling Principal who I suspect wanted it to hang in his Office. Boomer.....who mourns for no child molester.

    Probably every tire company out there has produced a few bad tires at one time or another. It is a risk we all face when it comes to our MC tires. The thing that bothers me the most concerning the Metzlers is that the company will not accept responsibility for their product and do what is right by those who have experienced the tire failures. They will never see a dime of my $$$$. Boomer........who would sell the scoot before putting Metzler tires on her.

    I avoid all meds regardless of the pain. Boomer........who gets some pain relief by drop-kicking the wife's useless cat across the Living Room.....when the wife is not looking. Did I mention that I dislike cats aka Hairballs?

    I didn't mind the assorted colors so much as the constant PAIN which was relentless day/night for many weeks. I'm none too keen about taking pain meds or meds of any sort.... which logic surely did not help my situation. Boomer........who spits on asphalt with disrespect every chance he gets.

    It is all a matter of personal preference IMHO......... Boomer......who had BLACK and BLUE all over after crashing last year.

    Dayum.....I musta been in the right place at the right time when I bought my 06 Midnight (in Nov-07) with very LOW mileage-if I remember right it was around 400 miles. Paid 8K for her and the Dealer even tossed on a new set of sneakers(replaced the Metzlers cuz I flat don't like em),oil/filter change, new plugs, and carb sync. Bottom line is if YOU are happy with the scoot and the price don't let anyone talk ya out of doing the deal. It may be a long time before you find another scoot that appeals to you like this one does.....and the naysayers will be riding while you are still looking for a scoot. Boomer.......who knows BLACK is the coolest color on any scoot.....and has written testimony from lots of wimmen to prove it too.

    30 plus years together? Congrats to both of you! Seems kinda long when ya see these kids today headed for Divorce after only 1 year together. Boomer.....who has been with his wife/soulmate for over 25 years and has no intention of running away..... even when he's sleeping in the doghouse.
