    New exhaust

Monty just called and is on his way over to show me his bike with the new tail gunner pipes. I just had this brilliant idea.... I am known as B2DAD, have a B2 bomber painted on the back of my bike...so when we go riding, Monty can follow me and be my....TAIL GUNNER!!!! Whaddya think about that??? Brilliant right????
  10. When we got home a few minutes ago, there was a message from Rex at the Oberlin Inn saying our reservation was still intact AT THIS TIME. He couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't change at a later date but for now, we were good with a king size bed / room. I am going to get with the rest of our group that is coming from the south, as we were all booked at the Oberlin, and see what they want to do. I am like the rest and don't want to get there and not have a room. We haven't stayed at any of the other places, so if those that have stayed at Comfort Inn or Motel 6 would give us their feedback, I would appreciate it. If the group decides to change motels, we will do it. Don
  11. I have a set you can have for the price of the shipping.I will PM you if you want them. Don

    All lit up

Looks good Mike.Pat and I had a good time today. Thanks for the invite. Don.
  13. Thanks for the offer YamaDuck. Hopefully his hand will be fully healed by then. And we sure hope you can make it to the meet n eat. Sure we welcome Georgia boys...and girls. AND MONTY: sorry, we didn't know we were going to ride until almost lunch time. I couldn't find a helmet to wear. My old ones don't fit any more. Called John at Raymers and he had a couple. As it turned out, they didn't fit either so he is going to order some and will get them in Wed. I stuffed some towels in the top of mine and we rode some. Tell Angie not to be scared of Don...he's really just a big teddy bear!! LOL!!
  14. Thanks Eck...sounds like a good idea to me...B2dad washing the bike, cleaning it up, polishing it...etc...
  15. Since it's been a few moons since I last rode a bike I have to say it was a bit different and I really didn't go that fast...but then again, it wasn't bad at all. It was sure nice not having to worry about balancing it, especially since I am barely 5' tall. That was always a problem for me. Don says the bike looked way too big for me, but I felt fine on it. I also had to stretch a bit to reach the brake and shifter. They weren't out of reach but not just "right there" if you know what I mean. A taller person certainly wouldn't have a problem. I would highly recommend the hannigan trike kit, but then again, it's the only one I've tried! LOL
  16. Well, I finally did it...Don (B2Dad) finally let me drive his trike. He took me out to the wilderness (state park) and let me drive it around the "loops". No trees jumped out in front of me...let me just say that right off! And when I got back after the first one, Don still had a tuft of hair left and a few fingernails LOL!! So around I went again. At one point I actually got it into 3rd gear!! Woo Hoo! Felt the wind in my hair...or would have if I wasn't wearing a helmet and had a windshield. It was a good day folks. We went on a nice ride and had a good time. The first real ride of the season. Mine, that is. Don already did some riding this week (thanks Monty for letting me know!) so I finally gave in today and we BOTH went riding. What's that saying? If you can't beat 'em, join em? I guess his hand survived. He's not hurting much tonite. A few more trips around the park and a written test and I might just get my license...will let you all know when it's time to look out for the hot chick on the trike...LOLOLOL!
  17. Sounds great just let us know and where.I might even ride over to Hannigans monday to meet you if you don't mind. Don
  18. Give me a call and we can discuss dates. Haven't got mine done yet, but I think we can all work together on them.
  19. Not for sure but I think it's clear coat.
  20. I just want to thank all of you for your moral support and to let you know that I will be riding very soon (I HOPE). Since I can't ride I'm going to go get in the hot tub and enjoy it. DON:big-grin-emoticon:
  21. Don did NOT like your suggestion Buddy. Now I will have to listen to him whine all night.
  22. Thanks for the idea Monty. Can't wait to tell Don. Boy wouldn't that look cool!!! BTW: I washed my car Friday.
  23. GlennTuc: Yes, it's a Hannigan trike. don loves it. Our son was also stationed at Whiteman for 3 years, and was a B2 pilot. Hence our name... He was until recently a pilot instructor at Columbus AFB in MS. for the last few weeks he has been training on an NC12 and he is leaving for Afghanistan on April 5, flying this plane over there and then flying reconnaissance missions. We are very proud of him and all he does. Thanks all for your comments. Monty: don and I appreciate all the riding you and Angie have done for us this weekend. Squidly: I know you don't exactly like trikes either, so I really appreciate your positive comments. I didn't want the flames to take over the bike either and think the guy did a nice job on them. I was afraid the blue / clouds would stand out too much on the back but after it was done, I also think it looks great. But that's my humble opinion. Patti
  24. Finally got Don's trike painted the way he wants. At least for now, he says. A friend painted flames on the front fairing, front fender, tank & rear fenders. Another friend painted Don's signature "B2 Stealth" on the back trunk lid. I think it looks really great. Wanted to share it with you. It was such a beautiful day today and poor guy still can't ride. Hopefully his hand will heal soon and he will be on the road while poor me is at work making that "gas money". LOL! Let us know what you think. 25. Don't give up. She may change her mind as she gets older. We have several grandchildren and some like to ride and some don't. Our youngest son had a bike and loves to ride. Our daughter rode when she was younger. Now that she's a grama too, not so much. Our other son wants to ride, just too busy fishing. haha Pat and Don
