This Country Music festival takes place every year for the last 25 years about 17 miles north or Regina Sk. Canada. There is about 25000 people there daily and everyone stays in the campgrounds and just has one heck of a good time. This year they had everyone from Toby Keith to Dierks Bentley, on Sunday afternoons lineup. I have a couple of pics and one video of the campground and you can see the stage waayy off in the distance, but it will give you the idea of the geography. Well, I called our Human Resource Department to ask about getting a copy of the video tape showing the truck hitting my bike and was told that I may not get a copy of it. I was told that since the incident happened in the city street and not on company property that they had no obligation to share the video tape with me and did not want to get involved. I would have to wait until the Director of Human Resources got back and ask him. During this conversation I told her that I had seen the tape and it was very obvious that the truck hit my bike. She demanded to know which person in Security allowed me to view the tape as she was going to take issue with them. It caught me so off guard that I did not know what to say. After a while I called the HR MGR back and got her voice mail and advised her that just so there would not be any surprises, I had received a call from the LEO at home yesterday evening and in my conversation, I advised him there was a video tape made and I had viewed it. So, she needed to know that it was now part of the police report on a hit and run investigation. I gave her my cell # if she had any more questions and as of this moment I have not heard from her. So the crap is already starting!! RandyA

I guess I made my 9 seconds of fame last week when I knocked on a local drug user's door. Just look at his screen name he uses on you-tube, that will tell all... I knew I was on video, but didn't expect to show up on Youtube.com. An anonymous caller told me to look there. http://www.youtube.com/user/lonemethranger

I just received this from a friend in Utah, and thought it worth sharing with everyone: Hi, Terry! This is a video worth watching. I never realized that a wet dishcloth can be a one-size-fits-all lid to cover a fire in a pan! This is a dramatic video (30-second, very short) about how to deal with a common kitchen fire ... oil in a frying pan Read the following introduction, then watch the show. It's a real eye-opener!! At the Fire Fighting Training school they would demonstrate this with a deep fat fryer set on the fire field. An instructor would don a fire suit and using an 8 oz cup at the end of a 10 foot pole toss water onto the grease fire. The results got the attention of the students. The water, being heavier than oil, sinks to the bottom where it instantly becomes superheated. The explosive force of the steam blows the burning oil up and out. On the open field, it became a thirty foot high fireball that resembled a nuclear blast. Inside the confines of a kitchen, the fireball hits the ceiling and fills the entire room. Also, do not throw sugar or flour on a grease fire. One cup creates the explosive force of two sticks of dynamite. This is a powerful message ---- watch the video and don't forget what you see. Tell your whole family about this video. Or better yet, send this to them. Dana Terry

:sign09::sign09:Helpppppp. I'm trying to wrap up bike rebuild project in time to make it to Daytona. My Atl riding buddies pulled out this morning and Venturerider.org buddies are waiting and I'm still dealing with carb set up issues.:icon_smile_question:doh: So I'm asking, pleeding begging for help from you carb gurus in talking me through getting carbs set up. To help speed up the process I'm setting up the laptop in shop with web cam focused on project so those helping can see in real time video feed at the rate of 6 frames per minute. The link for video feed is http://Webcamnow.com/DragonslayerBob I will also be constantly monitoring this thread for feedback. Video cam should be online by 11:30am EST. To make it interesting and fun I'm make a contest out of it. The person most helpful in helping me get issues solved in time to make it to Daytona will win a prize of thier choice between Daytona Bike Week 2008 souvenier or a On Board Liquid beverage dispenser kit (My Invention and product) with on line instructions on installation. To get the ball rolling, this is where I'm at. The new motor is installed cranked and running, The air box is off, the diaphrams are all bouncing at different rates. The carbs have slow gas leak which is pooling around top lip of intake boots then dripping down. Choke is on. When I decrease choke and increase throttle engine bogs down and dies. During rebuild project I separated four carbs and installed new main diaphrams and coast enricher diaphrams, put back together and remounted to intake boots. What Do I Do Now?

As a future add-on, I am considering purchasing a Uni-Go Trailer to pull behind my "new" 2000 RSV. Anyone here have any experience with this trailer on the RSV or any other bike? Know anyone who does? It seems to have a small storage capacity, so I am not sure if it will accomodate my needs. It also appears that the trailer would require some type of adapter to work with the ball receiver on most bikes. Thanks for any help out there. BTW, I have visited their website and looked at their video. I really like the way the trailer seems to follow the path of the bike. However, at $2,300 it seems kind of pricey or am I just cheap? Are there any similar, less expensive units out there? Here is the link to video for anyone who may not be familiar with the Uni-Go or its setup. http://www.schoolhousemcacc.com/article_info.php/articles_id/5 Thanks again jarrejx
