Just got a great deal through Kijiji, 2 dozen Titleist & 2 dozen Top-Flite XL3000 golf balls for $25. All brand new still in the plastic wrapping. But, about 2 years ago now, we scored a SOLID cherry bedroom suite (queen sleigh bed, two night stands, long 9 drawer dresser and mens armoir) the ad had been up for a while for $1500, then $1300 and when it came up for $1100 we went to see it. Talked her down to $850 and she showed me the receipts for $5000 one year previous. Her daughter had bought it and then moved for work so mum was selling it for her and it wasn't moving, until dunvilsteev showed up!! THAT was my best deal! And how about y'all? Whats the best scoop you've every got through Kijiji or Craigslist? Love to read about others deals ....

For those of you who ride ventures what is your age? Just curious to what is the age range who rides these bikes. I'm 40 yrs owned it for 4 yrs now a 1st gen. 83' royale. I love my scoot.

Unfortunately, I've never been to Germany to get back to my roots, so I just wanted to pass on a note... My father told me about a place called 'Henninger Brau' in Frankfurt, and apparently I'm related to them. I have a few wine glasses from there, and a few different cans/bottles of beer dated in the 70's when my father was there, but I'd love to get some more stuff! Hi Everyone I am looking for foreword pegs or better yet foreword boards (big feet)for my 85. I need to stretch the legs! I have all the components for the radio and cassette player. Also, I have a set of running boards that need some tender care. They are the ones that connect to their own crash bars. Left side is a bit out of shape. I already gave running boards. I would love to trade stuff. If this is in the wrong area please move or if this is not allowed please fell free to remove.

Today I had my first chance to hear a hopped up VMax ! OH MY LORD, I am in love again! That was totally awesome. I love the way that thing sounded even at idle!

I have aftermarket pipes on my Venture that are way too loud. Don't ask me who made them. Came on the bike and have no markings. Look like bag slash pipes. Love the looks and the tone, just wish they were a little quieter. If anyone still has their oem's or are just wanting LOUD pipes, pipe up! (couldn't resist that) I'd love to get these off my ride.

:clap2:Here it goes: bought new to me in 2008, a silver 2005 rsv 23,000 miles. LOVED IT, bought sight unseen, test rode 20 feet into trailer. 24,000 miles rearend started squeaking before 2 week trip: outta love. New avons and greased hub pins back in LOVE. On our 2 week trip started running kinda crappy , rough and unresponsive: OUTTA LOVE. Get home, $100 morgan carbtune:back in LOVE. 25,000 miles seat getting a little weak, sore butt: OUTTA LOVE Rick butler works on seat : back in LOVE road king mufflers start to sound like crap: OUTTA LOVE lastweek put stocks back on, made and installed leveling links: back in LOVE in a big way. this dang bike will let you down sometimes but a couple tweeks and she gets back in your graces and she's the greatest. If theres a better bike built today i will kiss your @$$.

Well stoped at Plymouth In. today and seen the 08 new scratches here and there gouge in saddle bag few nicks here and there. Looked in the corner and seen new 09 Red and Blk RSV with factory 6CD disc changer fell in love again for the RSV. Trying to make a deal will see $15,499.00 ++ will see Joe, star4772

Todd, are you by chance off this Saturday, Jamie and I and a few others from our motorcycle ministry are going out Saturday and well be passing your neck of the woods, headed for the Col.'s place for lunch and up to Suches and other parts, love to have you come along especiall since you know those roads very well. We will be leaving the Newnan area around 8-8:30 am, so hope you can meet up with us.

The best part of Easter, aside from the religious, is having the little kids and watching them with the dyed eggs etc. And even better than that, is all the egg salad sandwiches after it is all over. Gotta love that........( I was going to add a smiley here, but I couldnt find one with a fat gut to accurately depict my love for egg salad.)

Today my son purchased an new 06 Tour Deluxe with 0 miles! His first motorcycle. Thanks to all who offered him good advice after he posted here yesterday. I thought it was a good deal but you all confirmed it. I'm excited for him and know he will love the bike. The only problem being he lives in Texas and I'm in Iowa so we won't be able to ride together very often.

I installed a 165-80-15 Nexen SB-802 on my TD yesterday and I went out and rode about 250 miles on it just to get a feel for it. I must say that I love it!! I'll gladly answer and questions. I posted the info on the DS tire data base.

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I can't find it. Is it possible to dis-connect the cassette player from an '89 VR and still have the radio work? I sure would like to get rid of the cassette player as it doesn't work and don't want to fix it. Would love to add an MP3 player in its place. Any comments or suggestions?

I met Buddy and my new RSV today, and it was love at first sight(the RSV, not Buddy...lol). Buddy is a great guy. I'll be bringing home my new scoot Saturday. was just wandering if anybody knows if a set of road king mufflers can be made to fit on a 91 VR. I've cuut and drilled out my stock and although I love the sound just wanted a cleaner look. If this question has already been answerd before then I apologise. Tahnks in advance. David -
Got about 50 miles in today and man did it feel good!!! You don't get to ride to often in January in Ohio and it was 49 degrees so i had to take her out for a spin. Hopefully we will keep having a few days like this but in case we dont this little ride today should get me by for awhile. I love my Venture!
