A man goes to a bar, sets at the corner table alone, and orders three beers. The bartender notices the man takes a drink from one glass, then the second, then the third. The bartender offers to bring the drinks one at a time, but the man refuses, "You see," says the man, "I have two brothers fighting in Iraq. Before they left we agreed that when any of us had the chance to drink a beer, he would drink one for the brothers as well." This went on every night for several months until one evening the man came in, obviously distraught, and ordered two beers. The bartender went over to offer his condolences for the loss of a brother. The man says "Oh no, my brothers are both fine. But my wife has got religion and says I can't drink any more. That's got nothing to do with my brothers though.":no-no-no:

So there I as, driving to work on a beautiful SoCal afternoon. I came up on a 90 degree left handed sweeper, no traffic, clear road, about 25mph. I eased into the turn, acheiving full lean with throttle roll-on, when to my surprise, my back end completely washed out. I found my self on the pavement watching my '09 RSV continue in a straight line, on it's left side. When it hit the edge of the roadway, it high-sided and smashed down hard on the right side. Tow truck to the dealer, call to insurance and several beers late, here I am. By the grace of God I am uninjured, but the bike may be a total. New fairings, bags and rub rails, new windshield, new engine guards, new floorboards, that's just the start of what I see needed. And I am NO mechanic. .

Don I know where your red marbled waterman pen is.I got to thinking today and called Beer30 and had him look in the trunk,Sure enough the pen is in the trunk of the SS bike. Now if the pen is still there when I got over to Beers this week I will send it to you with the Star Zippo we talked about. Jeff

Mini Muffin made not one but 3 pies today so that Becky would get the one promised to her and Beer that I ate last weekend.I guess Mini thinks I dont have room for 3 pies in my belly. Not to mention the scoot right now I have 2 whole pies in the trunk of the MiniBike and have had my share of one at the house so we will see if the Beers (Becky) gets a delivery of a whole pie or not. Right now I want to say to Becky I am sorry if the pie does not make it there whole I will try to refrain from eating it unless that is they built a DQ on my route in the last 48 hours,:whistling: Jeff
