I'm searching for Yamaha engine breather covers....I know they were discontinued, but....someone may know where I could get these: STR-4NK27-15-01 and STR-4NK27-15-02 Any help would be great.....Beth says we need these accessories....and who the heck am I to argue? in the rain a few days ago on my way home from work I heard a loud POP! and the lights went out when i got home i checked and sure as heck the fuse was shot so i changed it out and then i had high beams only so the other day i had some time after work and checked out the simple stuff in the headlight bucket all ok fuse block ok and wires i could see without getting into the harness so i took it to the dealer after work yesterday and sure as heck it was the dimmer switch went POP so they wired my lights for the passing lamps to stay on all the time and my bright too! cool eh so now i have lights and they had to order a new dimmer FREE! to me as the little 05 Vstar classic is still under warranty yup im lovin it today:smile5: Dray

I called the motel (Super 8 or Motel 6, whatever it was) made the reservation and she said she would get something out in the mail to everyone. Has anyone received anything yet? Heck, I'll have to call Duke to get the number again. Which motel was it Duke? Spotsy

Poor baby...Came home from work today and guess whos big green eyes are peeking out from under the blanket?....Yep Taters caught the flu from me...As much as I would like to get back at her for all the shots she threw at me this past week when I was sick..I just cant do it...Gonna take care of her....Gave her chicken broth, got some ginger ale for her, and medicated the heck out of her.....that should due for now...Funny thing,..I asked her if she needed anything and she asks me to do only one thing..."CHECK TO SEE IF I HAVE ANY NEW FRIENDS REQUEST".... Go figure!!!!!!! Even when shes sick she gotta rub it in...

Hello All - I just put some HD Road King pipes on my 02 venture. Do I need to rejet? Some people I spoke to say yes, others say no. How do I know for sure? These things have absolutely no baffles and are loud as heck!!! TIA.

Cassette players are so.....80's! Is there anything I can use to replace this worthless chunk of weight. I would really like something simple like an MP3 player, and have it work with the existing intercom system, heck while I'm at it I'd ditch the CB too. -
Are there any symptoms associated with the head bolt torque not being proper? Just wondering since I have a 07 and this past Saturday I had a heck of a time starting the bike. I had to use full choke ( I have never had to use any chock before) to even get the bike to start and then you could not turn the chock off or the bike would die. I played with the idle screw a bunch just to get the bike to run with the chock off. This lasted for about 15 minutes then the bike seamed to return to normal. Of course I had to re-adjust the idle afterwards back to 1000 RPM. I took the bike around the block about 20 times just to check it out and it ran fine. I then took it out on the highway for a 70 mile trip and it ran fine. I have not had any more problems like this since. What the heck happened?

Hey ya'll up there in the Ohio area. There's a fella from Alabama headed up to Don's maintenance day following somebody with a GPS. But he's going to break formation and hang a left to make a visit in the Cleveland area. Since he's going to be without his "navigator", any of ya'll up there with connections with any LEO's, you might be looking out for a silver '05 RSV wandering around, he might need reeling in. I'm not going to name any names so as not to embarass anybody, but it rhymes with "HECK"!!

I knew this was going to be a pain in the ass! I just got my new J&M headsets, and of course, I"ve got the full face helmets that they say "present their own set of challenges." Has anyone put these in their full face helmets that may know how in the heck you get the styrofoam out to cut the necessary holes. I've got a Z1R and my wife's got an HJC. Thanks guys.

I had ordered the Bubs exhaust and before I received them I'd drilled 4 half inch holes in each stock muffler and they sounded pretty good. I decided to have the "bubs" put on yesterday and they're a little louder than I thought they'd be but I love them!! They have a nice throaty growl and people will notice them. They really sound good idling and also when you gear down. Heck, they sound good no matter how you're driving. Just thought I'd tell you about it in case there are some riding the fence on them. Had to go to the store this morning and decided to drive the wife's SUV. It was pretty dirty so I decided to run it through the automatic car wash. Should have been OK but the dryers were apparently not working very well so by the time I got home, I had a heck of a time getting out of the car. 4 degrees F right now and it sure doesn't take long for the doors on a car to freeze shut.
