has anyone out there used harley rails on their 2nd gen i see alot mor harley rails on ebay then venture rails .and if so was there alot of modifing to them to get them to look right ? its one of the last things i want to put on mine

i can tell you this it felt good to be on a scoot cant wait till the @#$## roads dry out but in closing harleys r little bikes lol im not the smallest guy but my brother in law is 5 11 and 350# and i felt like i was almost on a bicycle compared to black jack ill taks my 2nd gen or even my old 1st any day over a harley jack ps as for being unsupervised...... thats when i have the most fun. shhhhhhhh lol:innocent:

He says that he was thinking about his venture when he was on it and how would we take another trip when last year he (brother in law) asked us to change our pipes for our road trip to mississippi.

Such as getting on this Harley.I was not there to witness this bad situation but thank goodness my daughter brought the camera to witness this awful event. We also have the sheep skin that was lent to us by my father in law so we are unable to cut it to fit over and tailer to the seats. My butt really enjoyed this on the bike when we did our trip down south last year. (2000 miles)...one look at this and my sister has named it the Road Kill but i"ll take my road kill any time we take any kind of trip just wish it would be tailered for the bike Jess

OK so Ill set the stage Oldest sister graduation open house on a warm summer day. We had friends and family from all over the country at this open house being she was the 2nd grand daughter to graduate. We have a big yard and had the tents up in the 2nd lot next to our house. My family has lived in the same house since it was built in the forties....So 2 houses down on the same side of the street lives the drug dealer...cars coming and going all hours of the day and night..We had seen the survilance cars parked at either end the street for weeks now and of all days to hold the biggest bust..yup you guessed it on my sister open house...We all sat and watched them take bags and i mean bags of "whackie tabackie" out while the while family sat and watched..we have never seen a ATF drug bust so up and close and pesonal.. needless to say we always get a good chuckle every time we bring this up...they still live in the same house but they dont deal any more now we have the guy that lives across the street to deal with..we will just wait until he gets busted Jessie:2132:

i do as well in these times your life or the life of your loved ones can be threatened at any time i always hope i would never have to use it but wouldnt hesitate a sec to do so

Brad & Lonna I am in such shock to read about your accident...I am so glad to hear that you 2 will be ok Lonna i know how a broken collar bone feels and just take it easy...If you guys need anything dont hesitate to call us your guardian angels were working over time Jessie and Jack

So the only riding that we did was to go over to the storage place and start the bike I would not attempt to ride with this much snow on the ground [ATTACH]14344[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]14345[/ATTACH] Maybe when the temps get up to 50 this weekend but you know how Michigan weather is wait 5 minutes it will change Have fun and be safe Jessie and Jack:2132:

Well the present that I got came a little ear;y my sister and her family came up from Mississippi on Sat. that was the best gift. The next gift was good I got a new blackberry telephone with all the gadgets that go with it. still havent figure out how to turn the volume up. the next present was the best ever...I have for years told Jack that I did not want a bread maker I dont like them and never have:think:....last year he tired to get me one as a gag gift and his truck broke down in the parking lot of the store..I said its was a sign...so this year my first box that I opened was a hammer....strange llok came over my face:think: jack couldnt stop laughing:rotf:...the 2nd box was a used bread maker from the second hand store..I again had that strange look on my face:think: until Jack said well I got the hammer for you to either hit me with cuz i bought or you can use it to smash the bread maker...I will have to say that was the best anger management I have ever went too..:rotf:We got a big laugh out of it Merry Christmas and God Bless Jessie and Jack

You know what we got is nothing to compare to what you get....I dont think that we would have quads we would have to upgrade to a snowmobile... Jessie

Ok after looking into a couple of posts from snake I do believe that this is the thread that he is refering to http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=158183#post158183 Snake If I knew where you could get one I would share but since I dont own one and have not come up with a trailor that holds a magnet undernether to collect all the parts that fall off as you go down the road I will still stay with my 2nd Gen Snake you knew that you would get some jabs if you posted like that Have you asked your local dealer for any dealers that handle what your looking for or have you went to Mr. Nelson other site and asked the same question???? Frogman, When I started to read your story tears started to flow down my face. I know how hard times are especially around this time of the year. Seems like there is never enough time to spend with your family and never enugh money as well. I have to stop and think about everything that has happened this year and be thankful that I have my family here with me and to take the time to thank the ones that helped us when the tornado tore up our neighborhood. the ones that gave thier time with out even thinking about. This Christmas I will be spending the day with my family that will be arriving on Saturday from the south. This will be my brother in laws first white Christmas. I hope that thier visit will be as great as I can make it all though I have to work when they are here. My wish for everybody is that this Christmas no matter what you have under the tree how hard you've worked is that family is the best present that anybody can have and you cant put a price $$$$$ on that. Well I didnt get this for Christmas but for an anniversary present...a Dremel....it was a bad present at the time but ask the hubby how many times I have polished his bike with it.....I like it now but let me tell you I was not happy at the time Jessie:2132:
