do a "rfp" aka Request for Price ... specify what you want to buy with options you want. Send it out to 5 dealers. Tell them you're paying cash / no trade and make sure you tell them that theirs is not the only dealer you're sending the rfp to. You'll be surprised the variation in the prices. Then, sell your trade yourself and go buy at the one with the lowest price. You'll save a lot of bucks. Get interim financing to cover the value of your trade so that you get the new vehicle now and can focus on selling your trade while at the same time, not driving it...keeping it clean and presentable to prospective buyers. It sometimes takes quite a while to sell a vehicle... took me 3 month's to sell our 2004 Aveo... didn't get as much as I'd like to have gotten but there were at least 27 other '04 Aveo's in just one used vehicle publication for this area. In the meantime, we are driving our "new" truck and the Aveo didn't get used.

I could also be wrong; however, I seem to recall reading that HVLP guns, while not needing as much air pressure, require more cfm in order to atomize the paint at the lower pressure. So, that would then dictate higher requirements for the compressor. Compressor's air delivery (cfm) is usually greater with higher pressure; however, the combination of HP and tank capacity greatly affects cfm delivery. For example, you can have a 2 horse compressor with a 60 gal tank and get the same cfm capacity of a 4 horse compressor with a 10 gal tank...etc. (that's not necessarilly an exacting comparison) Am I right or wrong in my understanding of this (anyone)? ... -

Squidley...how do you figgure a pancake compressor will be adequate? A spray gun generally needs around 6.5 cfm @40psi (or better) ... I've never seen a pancake compressor that can produce that..... they don't hold enuf air generally, nor do the pumps provide sufficient volume all on their own. I just bought a new compressor and I did quite a lot of research on them pertaining to horsepower, tank capacity, and specifically cfm capacity @ 40 psi ... I bought one with a 15 gal tank and 1.6 running hp and that was about the smallest I could find to do the job. ?????? am I missing something here? .... -

I start getting the wobble around 100mph ... found if I put my knees out into the wind, it stops the wobble. Maybe it's caused by the air turbulence around the bike..??? Never had this issue with my '85 -
having just one speaker "active" ....you could say you're deaf in one ear so only one speaker is active .... knowhutImean?

any chance the antenna cable is being caught by the wind and causing it to slightly disconnect from the unit? Sounds crazy, I know but ..... I just put a new XM unit on mine...haven't had a chance yet to get out riding but I sure hope I don't have this problem....or any other for that matter!

didn't ya like the taste of gas? I was a master at syphoning LOL and I was Juicy Fruit gum's biggest customer LOL -
For me, aside from the fact that I like to listen to tunes and we have a good selection of local stations here, I find that my stock 1st gen stereo fades out a lot (loses signal strength). Now, that's probably due to the crappy antenna but even if I put $$$ into the stock system, I'm still stuck to whatever FM channels I can receive in whatever area I am in, PLUS... I gotta listen to all the advertising and other "jabber". With the XM, I can listen to whatever kind of music I want, pretty much wherever I am, and a lot more. So, for $30 plus the subscription fee's.... I LIKE IT A LOT! Oh yeah, and I didn't sacrifice any beer to buy it either LOL

crikey!!! Price at the pump yesterday was $1.347 ... that's about $6.11 / Canadian gallon !! (or $5.09 / US Gallon) (if my math is right?) It costs me more now to fill my lawnmower that it used to cost to fill up the scoot a few years back. -
On top of the sale price, I just found a mail-in rebate on their website for $20 so, if I actually get it (a lot of mail-in rebates never seem to go anywhere) ... that's $9.95 for this radio!!! can't beat that!
