    If your careful you can paint a pretty good line using a paint shield. You can make one out of a piece of sheet metal 2 1/2 ' 0r 3' x 12'' to 18'' nail yourself a wooden handle on it and make two of them moving one over the other and clean them regularly if you get a lot of over spray on them so they don't drip paint everywhere. A quick rinse with a garden hose will do it. I'm assuming you want to paint the floor a different color or keep paint off the floor. If you don't want paint on the floor get it wet before you spray and that will help to keep it from sticking if you get a little water on the wall it won't hurt the latex paint.

    Yamaha has a set of adjustable wings that clamp on the crash bar that pull air around your feet or close them for winter. I have heard of issues with highway peg position if you have them. There on my wish list just waiting to see someone that has them to know if they will work with my existing pegs which do get your feet out away from the motor.

    Good job that was a lot quicker than I thought would be possible looking back I think the last time that was a target it took forever. Somewhere in the first 55 pages of this thread.

    Maybe to late now but find out if the trailer belongs to the company pulling it. A lot of trailers are leased out and are just dropped and hooked it may belong to someone else and I would file on them also. I know you shouldn't have to this but if they don't pony up report them to FMCSA the Dot in your state, you might even contact OOIDA they may be of assistance. The trucking company doesn't want you with the Govt. . If it happens to be a owner operator start calling him and holding him personal responsible. He sure wont be happy after all the money he has dished out for ins. I know I wouldn't be.

    Don't know about the HD but we came off a v star 1100 to the venture and my wife luvs it. She said there's probably less air and we have a short wide shield. We were half or shorty helmets also. You let her ride on the back of a Venture and she won't want to ride anything else my wife luvs her seat and back rest and has even fell a sleep back there.     Sounds great will you keep you updated on our plans. One of the things I would like to try is some fresh lobster if it's available. Were still working on some of the sites we would like to see besides seeing some great scenery and roads.

    We will be going to Charleston the 4th week in April arriving sometime on the 22nd. Was wondering if anyone around the area would like to have a M&E thinking about the 23rd or 24th not sure how long we will stay in the area before starting our trek further south and back home. Would like to spend some time riding and seeing the country or just a evening meal.

    Yeah I have a grandson I have to hide keys from or put out of reach which is getting harder. He's a climber. Just noticed your from the Charleston area we will be there the 4th week in April.

    Cobra 29 peaked and tuned with a 500 watt Texas star and a good antenna. But your stator rectifier thingy bopper would have to be upgraded.

    Congratulations Condor its great when things work out like this. A little bummed I missed the drawing got here 20 min. early and still missed it. But it's been fun and brought me a lot of joy Thanks Jeff & Margret and Dano for allowing me to be a part of it.

    You would have to thin latex with water. Be a pain in the uknow in a gravity gun. Airless would be the way to go to get a good seal on that porous block and fast to just follow it up with a fluffy roller to smooth out any streaks you might get. You can rent them at paint stores or rental outlets 1 day will be more than enough time to do they job. I doubt the gravity gun would handle it without making thin as water and multiple coats.

    My sister wasn't much bigger than him when my parents got bike's Dad put her up in front him. Think the helmet was as big as she was no mistaking when she fell a sleep. But that was in a different time when our cribs had lead paint, no seat belts and moms flailing arm for a car seat.
