  1. When looking at the original pic am thinking whats the problem then i remembered you people drive on the opposite side of the road.Sure is a dangerous place to be however in my younger sportsbike days i was a bit of a hune with very little riding skills and found myself in that position on a few occaisions so i guess age(lucky to survive this long)and self preservation are the key and of course these days there are lots of courses to teach riding skills
  2. Hi Shaun i would be interested in a copy willing to pay whatever your costs are Pls give ok here and i will PM you Thanks Terry
  3. Why not use remote speakers for the rear cuts down on cable and the sound is great
  4. I used to own a Vstar 1100 and i fitted what is called in Aus a Defector screen it is not as big as the Yama screen but did a very good job of taking the wind of my chest and head
  5. Do you have many roundabouts in the States this would be a challenge
  6. I had interbody fusion on my C4/5 joint in my neck some 28 yrs ago i have had very little problems since provided i dont do anything to stupid like lift heavy loads at full arms reach. Before it was fused i used to operate gantry cranes and if i turned my head suddenly to the left or right i would pass out from loss of blood flow to the brain very dangerous when working at heights.

  13. Well done run in the Family do they?
  14. Not sure if the ID and OD are compatible but how do you intend to bolt them under the panniers as i can not see any bracket on the Harley pipes
  15. Whatever you take allong and we all seem to take more than we need try to distribute the weight evenly across the bike it makes a huge difference to the handling.I invested in a set of liner bags for the panniers makes it so much easier to carry and find stuff when you stop at the end of each day.
  16. Thank you Scooter much appriciated Terry
  17. Can someone steer me in the right direction sometime ago on the net in the States i found a store that was selling Yamaha V4 tee shirts with flames and a few other variations on the V4 theme would like to buy but can no longer remember where i found it a web site would be good. Thanks
  18. imho if the tyres on your bike are 3 years old i would replace them as the rubber does tend to go hard over time and can heve a remarkable effect on grip and with the bike in storage for a time over winter compounds the problem. We in Aus dont have to store our bikes as the winter climate is not as severe as some parts of the States.
