  1. Air Show Brace yourself before looking at the attached image. A pilot at low level has lost control of his aircraft and It narrowly misses the crowd gathered for the air show. It slams into four buildings. You can only imagine the horror of the occupants trapped inside those buildings.See below! http://venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=52463&d=1291538746 "Probably scared the sh*t out of them!":rotfl::rotfl:

  7. Me two I would love to see more open Christmas spirit and flag waving in our two countries. Lets put Christmas trees back in our malls and fly our flags with pride like we have done for generations, instead of hiding in the shadows of politial correctnes fear. Exactly why we need to have more public display's of our beliefs and patriatism to let our governments USA and CANADIAN know who our two countries belong to and not to be intimidated be recent immigration or politial correctness BS. I am all for religious freedoms what ever that may or may not be. But not to the point were people born and bred on these shores have to stiffle ours just because Johnny come lately say's so, yet expect us to accommadate thiers.
  8. Guy goes in an adult store and asks for an inflatable doll. Guy behind the counter says, 'Male or female?' Customer says, 'Female.' Counter guy asks, 'Black or white? Customer says, 'White.' Counter guy asks, 'Christian or Muslim?' Customer says, 'What the heck does religion have to do with it?' Counter guy says, 'The Muslim one blows itself up.'

  12. fortunatly for Brad he has an attached garage, so it will have foundation walls and very likely weeping tiles around the parimater. This greatly reduces the moisture issue, over a freestanding garage and particularily one that sits on a simple slab (such as Mine ) Local ground water levels, is also a big factor .
  13. If you do not have microsoft word to open the document, download writer from openoffice.org its free and it works well
  14. I have used both My garage is so bad for condensation that in the spring water just drips off of my big drill press. During the winters when my garage is too full to get into I use the outdoor method. I even leave my battery tender in there and leave it plugged into the outdoor oulet. Come spring or even a nice day I just uncover and go. P/S and I always put seafoam in the tank ride to the gas statation and fill it up before I cover it up. The carpet is a good addition or outside plywood on top of a sheet of an oversized sheet of plastic then pull the plastic up the side and put the cover on. An old blanket under the cover does not hurt either. it allows air movement betwween the cover and the were it would contact the bike. I add some extra gromets to the bike cover and stake it to the ground

  22. Concrete floors in a garage sweat or breath moisture. This is worse with garages on a floating slab floor, and garages with no drainage. This moisture contacts the cold metal and you get condensation. Best thing to do is seal the floor. Next choice is park the bike on an oversized piece of plastic. Next put a bike cover on. then loosely pull the plastic up the outside of the cover about a foot. You can also use this method when storing a bike outside in the winter. only difference is you pull the plastic up under the bike cover and leave a small drain hole in the bottom to allow any accumulated moisture to drain out

  25. Well Dad has been sliping backwards since I last posted. On the good side his red blood count has gone up and his white blood count has gone down. at one point his red blood count was so low they had to give him a transfusion. On the bad side his breathing is so weak that yesterday they inserted a treachia tube to help with his breathing. The ventilating tube they were using has apparently been used to its limit, with regards to running the risk of additionl bacteria being introduced. As well he has apparently gotten quite adapt at using his tongue to push it out. Mentally he drifts in and out largly I believe because he does not sleep and is exhausted. Apparently they have also run the limit as to how much they can sedate him and sleeping pills have no effect.
