  1. This is the e-mail I sent my original comment to marketing@froggtoggs.com
  2. I believe BBQ has just become a generic term for outside grilling like Skil Saw has become for all circular saws despite who makes them. Or maybe it is just an acronym like LOL, BYB, BTW, LMAO
  3. Leave it in the freezer----then bring it to the NY Rally and I will show you how to both Cook and Eat it -----Then when you get back home you can get another one and if you payed close attention you should be able to both cook and eat one your self. ----Hey What are Friends for?

  5. This may have been posted before, but if anything is worth reposting this has to be it. Click on the small arrows above and below the wheel on the left or right of the menu to scroll through the file. http://www.cheeseandburger.com/
  6. I have had my Frogg Toggs for I believe aprox. three years now. For the most part I love the product and have rode my motorcycle through some pretty severe thunder storms. However I do have one beef. That is the zipper. Every now and again for what appears to be no reason at all, the zipper will pull apart in the middle. So on March 27, 2012 at 1:00 AM I decided to write them , and sent an E-mail to, marketing@froggtoggs.com More so for the purpose of feed back then complaining since the product only has a one year warranty and I wasn't expecting much. I was suprised when, at 9:00 AM the same day I recieved the following reply from Kevin Gentle. I sent them the requested info and this morning, true to their word, via UPS I recieved my new jacket, with the new heavier duty zipper, and they even covered the shipping. It is a real pleasure in this day and age to deal with a company with integrity and who have enough pride in there product to stand behind it dispite the limitations of the warranty. For this I say say thank you Kevin and the Frogg Togg company.
  7. As everyone has alreadysaid thanks Tom for bringing us all up to date. Sad the news was not better than it was but like everyone here I keep hoping things will improve.
  8. ! suggest taking the final drive apart and visually inspecting all the parts. My 89 did that and I found it was because the threaded end snapped off of the pinion shaft, Althought I find it hard to imagine a second gen snapping a pinion shaft. It probably wont hurt to check the bearings and replace the seals before you install it anyway.
  9. just got off of chat seems to working fine:thumbsup2:
  10. For those of you thinking about camping by the pond, but wonder if the bull frogs will keep you up all night. Fear not for I shall be there snoring loud enough to drown them out:draming:

  19. Sometimes things go on back order through no fault of their own. However they could have kept you in the loop but that is something that very rarely happens anymore from any source. I ordered and bought gaskets and covers for my clutch and brake master through the local dealer and even totally forgot about it myself . Almost a year later they called to say that they finally came in. It had been so long that I had forgotten what it was I ordered until I actually saw it.:bang head:
  20. Here is some tech manuals I came across. http://www.dekabatteries.com/assets/base/0139EastPenn.pdf check out pages 11-14
  21. None Taken. I just found the articale on the internet while researching AGM battaries and felt it worth posting. I myself have no first hand experience with AGM's but am looking into it. From what I gather as long as it is a 3 stage charger it should be OK. But do not leave it connected to the battery, disconnect charger once battery is fully charged. From what I have been able to understand so far, AGM,s do not fair well on a battery maintainer. They prefer to be fully charged before storage then simply left alone as they apparently have a very low self discharge rate and up to two year shelf life.
  22. Wow Yammer ......The warden let you out of your cornor extra long for good behavior or something? that hadt to be one of your longest posts. The worst part is I actually agree with you ......How bad is that ????
  23. You think ???......the back of your helmit is still exposed (or head if you don't wear a helmit)
  24. Same here. Best thing is just take the whole assembly off the handle bar, take it all apart and clean all the contacts and moving parts. Beware of the little springs and balls inside, they like to travel.
  25. You can also coat the cracks with liquid electrical tape
