    I removed the Trunk Mirror out of the trunk so I could fix the mirror hinges. In so doing the 4 mirror bolts dropped somewhere into the Back Rest. I was wonder if someone can point me to a thread as to how best to retrieve the Trunk Mirror Bolts. I searched for Trunk Mirror but found nothing very helpful.

    I tried to order this part from Yamaha and they said that this part is no longer available. I'm needing the small black washer (wierd sharpe) that slides over the threaded portion of the chrome bar of the entire radio module. The chrome bar is what you grip in order to lift the entire radio module out of the faring. I have an 89 VR. I'm hoping that someone might have an extra radio module unit that they are using for spare parts.

    The last time my wife rode was about 27 years ago. I recently purchased an 89 VR. The one thing my wife dreads is the helmet hair. She has shoulder length hair and she kinda of rolls her hair into a ball then puts the helmet on. My questions is, in 27 years, has there been any new hair tricks for women who hates Helmet hair.

    Ground clearance is too low. Draged the kick stand around corners while not pushing it hard.

    New owner of an 89 Venture and looking for a trailer hitch. I've read many postings and took down sites of where to order one. My ? is, is a trailer hitch interchangable from 86 to 93. My thoughts are that it should be.

    I'm making a 1 way trip from Vacaville to Seattle on my 89 Venture. While I was visiting my daughter and granddaughter I purchased this 89 Venture. I plan on flying in Sat Sept 18th and riding back on either Sun or Monday. 1st stop is Corvallis Or where I have friends. Next day into Buckley Wa. You would have to make the solo return trip back.

    I just purchased an 89 Venture with just under 24K miles. I'm looking into insurance and was wondering what requirements meets a classic. Less than $500 worth of accessories? Let me see Driver Fool Boards, Heal Toe Shifter, Hwyway Floor Boards, Driver Back Rest, Chome Front Brake Calipler Cover, Crome Fairing Vent Covers. That be over $500.00. So that means my Venture does not qualify?

    I just bought my 89 Venture in the Sacramento area. While searching for Ventures, I came across this Craigs List add. I conversed with the person and he says that his brace improved the handeling, tire wear, high speed, & cornering. I did not buy one for I am too new to the 1st Gen Venture. Here is the add.
