  1. Thanks all, I'll take a part and get it matched. Was just hoping for an easy fix to my problem.
  2. Thanks Jeff, I wanted to match it as close as I can. It has some nice pinstripes and the part that I need to paint doesn't have any. Maybe I'll paint everything and change the color.
  3. Thanks, I have the code but it not listed in color-rite. What I'm looking for is the lighter blue on the 89 or 90.
  4. Does anyone have the formula for Dull Blue Cocktail? Or where I could get it. Have been to color-rite's website and it's not listed. Any Idea's? Thanks.
  5. Lewis, Money sent! Thanks for all you do for the kids.
  6. Try the Chief Motel in downtown Custer. They are biker friendly and have special deals that if you stay for x amount of days then you can get a free pass for the park. As for places to see in the southern hills (Hot Springs) The Mamouth site is interesting and just south of there is the wild horse sanctury. When you go to the Badlands make sure you get there either at sunrise or at sunset because of the way the sun hits. As for rides besides the regulers try old Hill City Rd. between Hill City and Keystone. My wife was born and raised in Custer and we still own the log house just east of town. Needless to say I've riddin all the paved roads and most of the gravel. Have a Great time!! Rod P.S. There is a DQ in Custer

  12. Went on a cruise a few years back. It was one of the most enjoyable vacations we've had. The only problem is that they feed you all the time. Had to be careful not to over do it and gain to much weight.
  13. I, for one check the ads once in awhile and have bought a couple of things. However I also look to see the sellers status. I have alot more trust and confidence buying from a supporting member than a Trial Member or an expired member. All I can say is thanks to Don, This is the best site of which I've been a member.

  21. Just got back in town. Thanks for the input. At this point I'm waiting on new seals and gaskets for the water pump. As soon as I get them I'll install them and see if that was the problem. If not then on to the twinkie. Also what would you use to flush the cooling system of the oil residue.
  22. About half an inch floating on top but no water in the oil. Thanks
  23. I've been a member for a few months but have never posted. My ? is this.. My (new to me) 89 venture has developed a problem. After my 2000 mi. trip to the Black Hills I noticed oil in the overflow tank. What would cause this? Blown Headgasket? Or is there another way? :confused24:
