  1. Don, feel free to give me a call if you have any Questions about this matter and I will try to help you or take some pictures for you if you want. Jeff
  2. Yes, I HAD to do this as my wife felt that it was to small of a space after the conversion. I moved it back and added (2) Rubber Shock Washers and longer bolts. so it would not touch the lower lip on the body , you will see what I mean when you look at it, been working fine for 2 years. not sure what happens after the conversion , but it was not the same. Jeff `Mine is over the lower lip `Mine is at the rear hole OR I might of even brought it back farther. -I also re-drilled the holes over the false fender and moved the passenger seat as well for her.
  3. yep, works great
  4. Just slide the tank back a bit next time no need to remove it. you might as well buy a carb tune as the stealer with get half that amount or maybe even more.

  13. The air conditioner really helps when I am painting as well have to keep the humidity out. heck even a couple window air units will work just fine , I had those before I added the Ptac unit to replace them.
  14. *LOL* gets kind of adicting... make sure you get the spray for the clay bar as well otherwise it will not work. you could probably use detailer while using the clay also. I am done with my project na na boo boo:rasberry:

  18. Yeah Buddy !! Gatta make it pretty for work ! You know I found this Ptach unit and cut a hole in the back of the garage and that darn thing works great! It gets the humidity out of the garage! TV, Stereo and Computer with Internet out there as well.
  19. Man, BLACK sucks to keep just right. The hardest to keep clean and waxed right. Just traded my black car in for a same model red. *LOL*
  20. Its amazing !! I notice the difference when I think I want to skip that step (clay bar) and the results are not as good. Its a must go do all this in the right order for the perfect job. Lotta Work ! But with the orbitals and other stuff it is not to bad. I just keep ordering more and more stuff from Griots. the next few months is FREE SHIPPING ! Just started to use the Window Clay and Window Polish on the Windows and wowzer.

    Welcome !!
  22. Last year I was stumped :scratchchin:on what this was all this was about, So I did my research and it only took a year to get it just right. but it makes since now. There is a method to this madness !!! At first I could not figure out what the difference was with Polishing and Waxing. then found out about cleaning clays. (what's that?) *lol* So basically vintage cars and Trike in my case. WASH Trike/Car Use cleaning clay to remove all the rest of any surface dirt. Use Polish (1) (2) or (3) after that to remove any surface scratch marks and finely WAX . There are different polish and wax applicators as well. All used with Griots Orbitals I use mostly the 3" on the Trike and I also have the 6 " for the Vintage cars. Today it is real humid out so I am doing this in the Garage with the Air Conditioner running. Man oh Man what a difference in the paint job after doing this the correct way. Rather than the basic way-- wash and slapping wax on. AMAZING !! So Shinny !! Jeff
  23. Hey George, I have been meaning to ask you -- How is Hannigan doing with it's re-build and stuff? Jeff
  24. I have been through a few different type speakers myself. Polk's seem to be the better sound but still not great. you will never get a great sound from this set-up . I even use a 240 watt amp in the trunk as well, helps a little bit. I have tried everything in the RSV. the baffles, the bass blockers , yadda , yadda , yadda ! I think the rears sound a little better due to the fact that there in a (pod) and the sound bounces back better. the fronts I think that you loose the sound as it falls into the fairing. that's my thoughts on this. As far as the depth the Polk is the deepest you can go. take a look. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18228
