1. Hey Nicholas,(N9VIW) Don't forget to re-up your Ham license next year! Hi Hi OM! I just wish that you could see the advantage and not be so critical. But!! $12.00 >>>>>
2. Will only work in 4th and 5th gear also. My TD had tassles and the eind kept them pulled in far enough to keep the cruise tripped. Fix was a 12 dollar new bolt that holds the clutch lever on. Reference to center switch is for ventures. Your on/off is on the right control. Everything else applies. Signed TDunc alias TD'sTD
3. I basket swap moved mine from power on to only while downshifting... It was a much quieter ride.
4. I had mustang seat with backrest on mine.... loved it. adjustable and all.
5. It is the handle bolt. Fixed mine by replacing it. It is a sleeved bolt. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
6. Ouch dude.... but I have to agree... I dont think I could ride alll the time holding onto the leather funnel created in the seat by my puckerer!
7. Mine just had a sleeved bolt. I ordered the "lever bolt" and it stopped my TD from dropping out at higher speeds.
8. The frog toggle trick to no leaking is to buy bigger than normal so they don't stretch when you sit. JMHO Sent from my DROIDX
9. I bet this was a great trailer for a trike. I have to agree with you Randy that I probably would not want this behind two wheels.
10. I only look forward for their new touring bike, the Venture Gold!

Can an Eagle Swim?

12. It is proven fact that the shorter things are the less they bend. Hence, hang down can never occur with short hoses. This hose is definately long enough to hang, on both bikes. I also tell all my baseball team members that those with short bats need to stand closer to home plate. Then I send them in to clean the bathrooms. Now how is that answer that skirts the issue?
13. Both of mine just hang down to the front like a overflow.
14. I did have to drill out one of my mounting holes as mentioned in the instructions. Still only took about ten minutes . Congratulations. Im sure you will enjoy yours like I enjoy mine. Sent from my DROIDX
15. Nope, don't know how well they pull. I posted the info as an after thought that someone here may be interested. I did not even talk to the guy about them except to hear him say he is selling out of all his motorcycle stuff and putting in a indoor flea market in that building. He actually is the local moble home supply house and he has a buidling that he sold all kinds of motorcyle stuff through. I stopped in the other day just to look around. He still has stuff like some jackets, luggage, vest, some filters, batteries and oil. Not a true motorcycle dealer. Here is the main website to call if you are interested. http://www.allensmobilehomeandrvsupplies.com/ Here is his facebook. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Allens-Mobile-Home-RV-Supplies/104035492996981
16. Yep, you are welcome to take a look see..... Only thing I will not allow is for you to take a hammer to it like in their Youtube video... Nope.. mine are not that big. I looked at a clearview this weekend and the only things that caught my eyes were that the clearview had alot of curves in it that caused a little paralax in the view through those areas. The second thing was that the clearview does have some sort of blackout down toward the bottom. I have heard a few people say they really liked that feature. UPDATE - I just washed it for the first time. I really wanted to see how well it cleaned up. I only used windex and paper towels and it cleaned up really well. Even with a months worth of stuff on it. I'm impressed.

18. I have a supplier close to me that has three cyclemate trailers that appear to be new. He says he is getting out of the business and has them listed at about 400.00 off list. IF anyone is interested, let me know and I will go take pictures etc. I am not sure when they stopped being made or if they have stopped. I can not find anything but 09 info on most websites. If anyone has some more info on the trailer please post it here. I was looking for a trailer but I think he still wants too much for them. Especially if they are several years old. He has a white and a black cm2000 and then one of the more trimlined units. Not sure of that number. OK here are two pics I took of one of them.
19. OK, I still have not washed the shield. I am still waiting to see how well it does on cleaning. I think it is about time and here are some of the details. I have ridden several around town and shorter rides and this weekend I went to the GA MD. On the way down I really skirted most of the weather. It was not until I was well off the interstate in GA that I actually got wet. Not wet enough to put on rain gear but it was enough to wash some of the pollen and bug juice off. (additional note - night highway driving with all the bug stuff was not a good thing. I did wish I had cleaned it before hitting the road last night. alot of reflection from the bugs) Now enough of the dirt. Moving on to some more input about the way it feels on the road. I still am very pleased with the way it takes the buffeting away from the top of my helmet. I spent most of the time (3 Hours) checking out the air flow on the sides on this ride. I have tassels on the clutch and brake handles. I do notice that the wind now curves up a little more than normal. It is actually enough that it twist the tassels on the brake side into a knot. It does it mainly when at highway speeds and above....???? Not that I speed or anything. I also think I feel the wind more on my torso than normal. I will report more on that after I swap screens again and check out how much I get with the OEM. As far as gas mileage, I am still checking and double checking based on speed. So far I am finding that there is little change at normal speeds but at higher speeds, 70+ I do feel a little more whole bike buffeting and a little drop in gas mileage. The worst I had this weekend was 38.66 MPG. Again, not enough to totally throw out the idea of a EXTRA LARGE SHIELD. I have had many say something about not wanting to look through a shield especially when it is raining/drizzling. I will say this with strong conviction. THE RAIN SHEDS OFF THIS THING LIKE IT IS COVERED WITH RAINX. I have not had to stop or look over the top yet due to rain. I know this is different than my OEM because I had to look over/around whenever it got wet. I will report on the cleaning job after I wash the bike today or tomorrow. Here is a pic from outside Helen GA and the turn around point of this ride.
20. Just got home myself. Wow, Steve, great day. The whole trip I either skirted the big rain or it blew by in front of or behind me. Got to Spartanburg just in time to see my daughters performance, dinner and a ride back on in to Charlotte. I enjoyed evey minute of it even if I was from NC. Met alot of great people and it was hosted well. I look forward to joining up with you again in the future. Heck, I just may have one of these things just to see who (and WHAT:Im not listening to) shows up. I did have one thing happen on the way back that kinda has me baffled. I lost one of the right side bolts that holds the trunk rack on. The other bolt was almost out. Never had that happen before. Again, Thank you Steve for hosting. Here is a few more pics
