  5. Appreciate the input gentlemen, I was beginning to think I had completely lost it, who am I kidding I have lost it, and have no idea where to even look. :rotfl:
  6. I am not the brightest lite out here, and am unable to figure out if a pic can be added to a PM. Anyone who can shed some lite on this?
  7. You peeked my curiosity on this one. Do these come as a kit or are they custom made? I know what it is like with long legs and no where to put them. I'm 6'4" and all leg.

  11. When I saw the one pic with the the nice size Pike on it I remembered I liked fishing and did a lot of it when I lived up in the great white north. Also like NHRA drag racing and no it's not what you do after you borrow your wifes dress!
  12. Oh I don't know about that, I can be told something and 5 minutes later do the same thing anyway. I have been a charter member of this IDIOT club for some time now.

  14. I'm willing to bet the composer never envisioned it played that way!
  15. Last fall I purchased an 83 VR and with winter approaching, thought I'd better get something to cover her, and fast. I researched a bit and found on the New Enough web site, the answer. I ordered a NelsonRigg Falcon Defender 2000 cover in XXL. The cover is weather proof. I have a fabric seat on mine and needed something to keep it from getting wet. Long story short, ordered the cover and received it in about 3 days put it on her and that night we had our first snow. If you go to the New Enough website and go to the page with that cover and scroll down you will find a list and pics of happy customers, my 83 with cover and snow is on there! Hope this helps.
  16. I didn't mean to do it, it just got away on me!!
  17. First I would like to thank Atlanta Dragonslayer for the assistance given yesterday. As I told you I am a beginner in every sense of the word, when it comes to motorcycles. I did as you suggested and as of now it seems to have solved the problem. It looks to me like I finally made a good decision when I decided to join Venture Rider. I am not usually big on joining anything, but the help given by a total stranger, although it may not have been a big thing blew me away. I am sure that any of the other Venture Rider members, who have had anything to do with Bob can attest to the fact that he is Venture Rider through and through. He sold me on the fact that this is the place to be as an owner of a first generation Venture for tech help as well as anything else pertaining to these bikes. I hope that with some guidance from the rest of members, I can someday be able to help someone the way I was helped. Thank you again Bob.
