  1. It floats, and so does the wife. :rotf: We tossed her in just to be sure
  2. That's why I'm not sure about the tires. Taking off from a mall parking lot, slight turn to the right, and slightly off camber. Rear broke loose under moderate power. I think it maybe the road composition here but not sure. There's very few concrete roads in San Antonio. I know it wasn't oil as I'm pretty careful to watch for the oily areas at intersections and any place traffic stops on a regular basis. Did the same thing on a different road but the road was the same type of composition . And I know they are slippery in mud...
  3. Taking the boat out to see how fast it will go.
  4. I've gone thru a couple of those Walmart smart chargers. I'm pretty sure they are junk too so I'm going to pick up a real one this summer
  5. Watch the Avons for the first 50 to 100 miles. They will be slick till you rough them up some. I am running the Commanders now and can agree on the howl in the curves. I don't think they stick as good as the Avons on dry roads. I've brokern the rear end free a couple of times at low speed with the Commanders on dry pavement. Not sure if its the type of asphalt they use here or the tires but I'm not real confident in any curve with them on right now. Going back to the Avons in a couple of weeks
  6. Na, I think it all fits in my phone now...
  7. I would start with checking the battery voltage , then the ground lead off that relay.
  8. First thing is run some seafoam thru it. If anything you should be running lean if you have better airflow and not rejetted for it. But these bike don't need rejetting after changing the pipes.
  9. Great news JT.
  10. That'd amazing in that case and he lucky he didn't get hurt worse
  11. Well, I just wondering where the capsule is if there was one. The other boat has a shadow. But the one in the air doesn't seem to have a shadow. Although it shows the part of the boat facing you to be dark and not lit up by the bright sunlight.
  12. Go to a different dealer. Or sell it yourself and then go to a different dealer with cash in hand and be ready to leave if they don't make a deal you feel happy with. Always say no 3 times. It takes time but if it saves you a couple of grand then it maybe be worth it.
