Don't know about other areas, but here in S.E. TX. most groups ride lead bike in left side of lane, then alternate. Don H.

Steve, was back to work today with only 1 proviso: can't lift anything over 30 lbs. for a week. Don't lift anything anyhow, at least by hand. Can read computer screen from regular distance with my left eye without glasses, but have to have them on for the right eye. Before couldn't see any print on screen with left eye and no glasses. Don H.

Thanks for all the prayers. Had the surgery this A.M., now home and improvement is unbelievable!!! Now just have to wait 'til the other one is farther along and will have it done and be done with glasses other than the Wally world cheaters. Again, thanks for all the prayers. Don H.

well guys, gonna go in Mon. morning for cataract surgery on left eye. Past year vision has been getting progressively foggier/cloudy in left eye. Went to Dr. last Tue. and he said I need to get this corrected now. Also said that when done, might need reading glasses only. I have worn glasses for the last 40+ yrs. won't know how to act without them! LOL Am probably gonna have to do the other eye in the next year also. Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Don H.

GW, when you are as "vertically challanged" as I am, you gotta do anything you can to see over the windshield in the rain. Does let a lot of creatures get to ya tho. Don H.

Hey Dan, for such a large area like that, the best solution I've heard of is a Cat D-6N, other than that I don't have a clue!:080402gudl_prv: Don H.

Just got in from the Houston m&e ride. Had a fantastic time, met some of the greatest folks, had good food, can't beat that. I want to thank everyone who came and helped to make it a success. Without y'all, it wouldn't have happened. Pics will be posted later. Don and Linda H.

I have Markel American and am very pleased with it. The reason being is that 2 yrs. ago I totaled my first 1st. gen and was treated very well to the point of being able to buy my '93 with no out of pocket expenses plus get new helmets, and also got to buy my '91 back. As far as the rates go, the above post is very to the point. I am pleased with the coverage and the rate, so guess that's all I can say. Don H.

Fought the wind here in S. TX for the last 3 days and am wore down to a nub!! Don't really know the actual wind speed but estimate 25-30 mph straight wind with gusts up to 35-40 mph. Done wore out both sides of the Avons, never put the first mile on the center tho! LOL Also, never have had the wind try to take my helmet off, almost strangled me until I got the shield down! Oh well, all's well that ends well. :cool10: Don H.

As you can see, have a couple of problems. If I could get the first one, radio, fixed, I probably wouldn't hear the exhaust leak. LOL Problem no. 1 no sound from the speakers. The radio comes on, lights the station no.s up, but no sound. Have checked to see if headphone switch is off and it is. Actually can hear static, but no music, and volume doesn't do anything. Need help!! Problem no. 2 exhaust leak. Know where leak is, it is at the joint where the muffler attatches to the header pipe, right side. My question is, there was a thread about using copper pipe for a gasket instead of paying Yamaha's rip off price for the gasket. Have searched but can't find it. Does anyone remember what I am talking about?? Thanks Don H.

Last weekend our grandson got gum all over the leather on the seats in our van. Didn't want to use some of the gum removers on the market not being sure how they would do on leather. Did a google search for gum removal tips, several tips out there, just have to pick the one that you want to use. The one I chose is "Scotch Tape", the actual brand of scotch tape is the one that was recommended. IT WORKS!!!! Takes a little time and about a complete roll depending on the amount of gum. Just put it on the gum, rub it in, and pull using a sideways or angle pull. This way there is no smell left and the gum is gone. Don H.
