Well Debby has had numerous surgeries on her neck and spine so it was critical I get the buffeting off of her..none until the Clearview did this. I get better views from the shield,the stock has a curve in it to the sides and to ME it distorts my vision when getting in a long drawn out curve,the Clearview seems to give a more real view of the road..Does that make sense? The shield SEEMS to not buffet the wind as bad,may just be me. The vent REALLY gets air to you,it can be directed from my face to neck to shoulders to full body(Stomach area). The tint GREATLY reduces the Glare and at night isnt a factor. You can use RAIN X on it..I will try this soon. When you come to Texas whether I am working or not call and come by and Debby will hand the keys to you and try it..besides you and Bobbie are welcome here ANYTIME! Tom

I will be cruising thru Bastrop Monday around 9 AM so if you see a Midnight with the Texas emblem on the side of the trunk Its me,wave me down..May have to swing thru Red Rock on the way back from Lufkin Tuesday or Weds AM. Tom

This is fairly true..If it would not have been vetoed several years ago we would have been online with oil flowing today..Gotta start somewhere..Cant just wait or we are all hurt no matter what side of the issue each may be on..By the way Bongo,I have been following your health issue and I do believer the prayers are working! Ok,I finally bit the bullet and being that I like to try new things I bought a New (Blem) windshield directly from Clearview. I ordered the XX Tall,Tinted with the Vent.It is wider from bottom to the top and as the pics I think show it is designed to throw the wind farther over the top of your head and more to the sides also,IT DOES THAT. I did not think the vent would really get air to me but IT DOES DO THAT...ALOT more.I was unsure about ordering with the tint,I am glad I did that also. I know I read posts on here that some do not like it but If you are unsure about it and live around here or traveling thru,call I will let you ride mine,They are BETTER than I thought it would be. Now if you order one they will tell you it will be 4-6 weeks BEFORE they start production on it so be prepared for that. You have to ASK if they have a Blem,it took 2 days for them to get back but I realize I am not the only customer they have,it was worth the wait!( 2 very very small scratches) Here are the pics from all angles . Bottom Line is I Recommend it if you want air off of your passenger and want more air directed to you thru a vent on those hot days. Tom

AMEN on this..I hope this does not become political,its just common sense. We do not need to be dependent on FOREIGN oil and YES we need to find alternative energy sources but until then the people should not be under such a burden as 4-5$ a gallon gas prices or food prices soaring because of a not so well thought ought idea such as ethanol. Drill Here Drill Now Pay Less.

Its a device that is suppose to be easy to put on to correct the reading on your speedo...Most speedos are off 5-8 MPH at higher speeds..mine shows 70 but really doing 65..Tom

Those are on my bike..in fact that is my bike..I love them,on HOT days I open them all the way and let the air come thru,one of the BEST accessories I have put on it. Tom

All I can say is THANK YOU Don and Mods..I have met many on here in person with differing opinions than I have and ALL have a heart of Gold..As one said earlier,on a forum people are faceless,with that being said insults and or attitudes destroy a good thing.Its good we can all be more like Family. Don has it right in the Tag at the top of the home page..I received an email from a member here day before Yesterday asking some info on my bike so he could install pegs like mine..i sent back an email,(hope I helped,) and he got them put on and Thanked me for answering a "Stranger"..well it was simple to me,I wrote back and said "You are no Stranger,You are a Venture Rider"! Thats what this site is about in my Opinion whether Liberal,Conservative,Athiest,WHATEVER. Thanks all of You,Tom

I used a modulite but made for a trailer with LED lights,IT SAID,I havnt a clue if that made a difference or not, but mine is working perfect and all I did was wire it per instructions that Freebird has posted in the Tech section.

Glad to hear you and your daughter are OK..As I read it I was visualizing what Lowell (WildHair39) was telling me the other day as we talked about the way I use to ride and the way I ride now,more conservative,He says all he can think about when he is out riding and starts eating the corners is "It sure is a long way home if I go down!"
