    Coming North on US 19 approaching St Petersburg on the morning of the 16th I saw a Silver (08?) at the Last Rest Stop towards St Petersburg at about 10:40 AM. I waved at him as he got on and left couldn't get there before he pulled out. Anyone from here??

    Warden has me doing Florida Beach tour and will be in Folkston Georgia Sat for watching WVU whup Maryland with Son. That does take priorty. Don't get to see him much and he is opening new Prison Oct 1st.

    Just got done with tour of the new prison. Good talk with Warden. told him to give me call if he needed any help.... And there are some connections I could help him with for training purposes and things like that. Also told him Lil'Yammer (son) was going to make him good man. He agreed with that. Every little bit helps.Wants me to come back and check things out when they get underway??

    The warden told me I couldn't handle them. I would have to get them up to go to school every morning!!

    Went down the East coast to the bottom of Flordia. Didn't do the Keys it was raining hard that day so I just went across the Everglades. Then went back up the West Coast as far as Clearwater. Now in Folkston Georgia at son's. Going to stop and watch WVU whip Maryland tomorrow and then head on home. Got burnt a few times stay in some good motels and some not so good but great trip and Warden claims she is tired of Beaches!! I liked the Gulf the best. And those girls down there are going to need some clothes if it gets cold... Ruffy I ment to call you but forgot info and haven' been close to puter since I left.

    Yeah my Buick looked better than the Tarus, would outrun, outdrive and held up better than the Tarus. I thought I caught a good deal on the Tarus and that guy is probally still laughing!!

    I have a loaded Tarus but not happy with the thing. I want my Buick back.

    Makes me remember the time i stopped at the Front Gate of the Prison to show mine off a little. Tore it down in the middle of the gate with everybody watching. When I found it was kill switch with wires and plastic scattered every where I told the office giving me a hand "You tell Anybody I'm going to Kill you" Til this day the convicts talk about how good I am. Tore that thing right in the middle of the road and fixed it!!

    As for the wax....I understand that some women get waxed quite reqularly! I thought that would be a good retirement job.

    I think you could ride just don't get too far from home and watch that it don't get any worse.

    Gunk did say he lost his phone. Sure hope he is OK. I'm headed for Flordia. My luck it will rain all week. Plan on hitting beaches on both sides right now. Plans subject to change if the Warden changes my mind!!

    It calls for Inital dose of 1 oz for every 8 gal of gas and refills 1 oz for every16 Gal of gas. Thats not much. I won't get chance to try it out til I get back. Going south for about a week. The 8 oz bottle is supposed to treat 128 gal of gas. Maybe I ought to treat the Tarus???

    I think Yamaha still sells that valve. Not sure but might be worth checking.

    I tried it out where I could watch it work. It is slower but if you let parts sit in it and soak they clean up good.

    Bout like them Hardleys. Just can't get rid of them!!

    If you clean that lock carefully they can usually be brought back to life. Sure is a purty one.

    Some of those plastic cans will disolve about any thing. Good cleaner if you don't have any seals or things like that in the way. Sea-Foam cleans great and you can leave a rubber O-Ring in it for a week and it is same as when it went in. I agree Sea-Foam is getting overpriced. StarTron cost even more but is supposed to require less. A old one that works great is Marvel Mystery Oil to keep a system clean. And it is only About 4 bucks a quart.

    You are not the only one!!!!:rotfl: This has been a great thread. I don't think any one is too upset and I love hearing all the different opinions. I'll have to admit money is a big factor when it comes to owning a Hardley but I bet I still know places I could pick a good Basket Case up. Trouble is they locked a lot of those boys up!! I think I'll stick with my 1st Gen.

    Glad you found it. That brake fluid is a great paint remover! Don't ask how I know.

    At that price its not bad. For less than 200 bucks I can get a TCI that will interchange in all my 83 - 89 1st Gens? But I have to program it?? That puts me in trouble again....

    I do the same just whenever I feel like it or think it needs it. But I don't do it at fill-up I usually do it with 1/2 tank or less. I got a bottle of StarTron this morning. Don't really need it now but my carbs ought to be CLEAN!!

    I just told the Warden the other day that I wanted to try that!! How about the one that has the whirling brushes in it??
