Well its been just over a week since I sent out my seats to Mr Butler and they finally arrived today, now if I could just get out of work, cough cough lol. Just cant wait to get them mounted tonight and take her for a spin. Had a question for the guys who have had the mod done, is the difference something you feel right away or am I gonna need a long cruise to really feel the difference? I ride about 65 miles one way to work everyday and not that the seat is uncomfortable but would love it to be more comfortable. Please let me know your input and thanks in advance!!

Got mine on ebay about a hundred bucks but there are GREAT!! Very nice lining, thin and smooth for easy on and off and comes with a zip in quilted liner that keeps me warm and toasty and have been riding at 19 degs and they kept me very warm. Now I am having them tailored more to me but thats only gonna run me 25 bucks at the local stich shop, great people there "schribers stich shop" in traverse city mi. ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/CELIBI-LEATHER

As my plate states "BKPRL" The first time we saw her to pick her up it just kinda hit me The Black Pearl!!! it stuck, now my 86 that I sold last year was named Mouse Motel, after sitting for several years there were so many mouse houses, everwhere on that bike!!! lol

switched to the t6 and ran it for maybe 300 miles saw same differences except for the whine once i added the mk the whine got better and the shifter got a lil smoother but i think they are both benificial
-
engine vibrations are GONE, its so smoooooth, doing 60 with the radio on you can hardly tell its running, shifts like a hot knife through butter, then whine.... well its not gone per say but would have to say its 40-50% better than what it was, it never really bothered me but now i have to really listen for it to hear it at all
-
Just changed over to the T6 and i am loving it added some motorkote and really like the differences:banana:

The Black Pearl replied to DAKn2's topic in General Tech Talk
I BOUGHT A SET OF THESE A COUPLE YEARS BACK AND I TELL YOU WHAT I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING WORK SO WELL, I HAVE PULLED OUT STRIPED 4 INCH DECK SCREWS WITH NO PROBLEMS. ITS THE SAME BASIC PRINCIPAL AS THE CRAFTSMAN ONE BUT CHEAPER, ONE END DRILLS A SMALL CAVITY IN THE STRIPPED HEAD (AND SELF CENTERS) THEN YOU FLIP IT AND RIGHT OUT IT COMES EVEN IF THE HEAD IS GONE I HAD A BOLT SNAP ON A OLD MUFFLER AND IT STILL PULLED IT OUT GREAT STUFF JUST MY 2 CENTS http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2967894&kw=extractor&origkw=EXTRACTOR&searchId=47147526614 :smile5::smile5: -

it was a y splitter but to keep it from hanging all over the out side of the fairing (being ugly lol) i split the fairing and pulled the outlet back in the fairing, i now have it all opened up again and hate the clutter in there so want my outlet back where it belongs and run power to the sat and gps from the fuse block i put in
-
Ok for you electrical guys I have added a fuse block under my seat and I have a gps and sat radio on a ram mount on the resv mount and had run the cig plug power cord inside the fairing where I pulled the cig port out of the fairing and put a splitter in it. Now I have replaced the outlet in the fairing and am wondering if i can pull a power line from the block for it? how would i wire it together ? recommendations on fuse size? thanks guys

I run with the HD pipes and i just love the sound of them, and for the price ( I got mine from the Hd stealer for 15 with the clamps) and i cut off and reused the heat sheild from the stocks pipes and BOOM couple brackets and 20 bucks and it sounds great. I just cant see the extra hundreds for the after market ones, lots of other safety chrome I can get for the money!! just my 2 cents lol:guitarist 2:
