  1. Mark...You are such a Bonehead
  2. Brother...you know I love you buddy, but just like Black Owl so many years ago said he had a 1st gen and none of us ever really saw it. But since I know your a character, I mean of great character I'll have to "Trust" that you do indeed have a bike....but I ain't holdin' my breath mister
  3. This "Gift" is just driving you crazy isn't it Lewis
  4. Holy Hell Jonas! I have seen some strange dishes, but that one takles the .....cake Tom....here's what you want to look at, BTW that is JT's (Hipshot) brother Don (Biscut)
  5. If it is....I'm not buying one
  6. Hey David...for the most parts....Shut Up! Lets see how that unravels
  7. OK...I'm confused You have a trailer but no bike to pull it with
  8. You have hit on a very good point Lutz, but there is a problem. In the USA there are several different "countries" that make up the borders of this nation. The south is very different from the west and different still from the north east, our election this month shows how VERY different this country is, and divided. There are many folks here that have never been to a function, whether it be a meet and eats or rally. I learn a lot of folks from functions, it helps me to moderate this site better when I know part of someones personality. It takes some folks a while to open up to, actually, strangers, which is what we all are until we meet one another face to face. The internet is a lousy means to discuss things, but I can have a political conversation face to face. It takes all the guess work out of how a question is being responded to. There is also a feeling on anonimity on a computer screen. I wish it was different, but there are some here that all they like to do is stir the pot and make folks fight, this is why we are quick to eliminate threads that go bad. I will say this right out here, now, I liked this site when it was small. That is not saying in any way that I dont like it now, but we had a lot more fun when there weren't 6000 of us. That is just a number, but it seems that we are so much more politically correct now a days. We used to rag the hell out of eachother and laugh all together, I dont see as much of that now. There are some that keep that spirit up, I try to, but I would love to see more people start M&E's in their areas. Put face time with eachother as it helps this group grow closer. There is no easy answers to any of it, most of us are like chickens with our heads cut off. I still love this place, I'm here everyday at some point. By keeping it drama free in some respects helps keep it that way. I'm off my soapbox sorry about the rambling on
  9. Life....and all it's experiences
  10. It would be a hell of a riot if Lonna didn't make cheesecakes She'll come on about 3 weeks prior and ask folks what kind they would like to have. Those threads are always interesting, it would also be great to if Vinny and Sam were to bring a certain shell fish again
  11. You southern folks have a mind of your own....so you tell me
  12. Rooster, I have bought from that ebayer before and he sells them for all the Ventures. Just email him and I'm sure that he'll have everything you want. There isn't a difference in the wires, perhaps in the caps as far as the shape of them.
  13. You bring up a good point Bill, and one that the Moderators deal with everyday. The economy is going to hell in a handbasket and folks are at wits end when it comes to finances. It can be a very tricky job moderating posts, we try not to be heavy handed, but there are times when it is inevitable. You'll also notice that we dont usually offer our own personal feeling on threads too often. Lead by example for me and I'm fairly confident in saying for all the moderators. I have said this many times before, and I'm sure this wont be the last. If ANYONE comes onto this forum in a bad or ticked off mood, reconsider posting anything. I believe for the most part folks dont try to stir the post, yes there are a few exceptions. But a hard day at work and kids going crazy and tightening finances can make for a bad recipie. I can't tell you how many times I have logged off and walked away from the site so not to go on a rant. Trust me when I say that there are many times I have wanted to jump feet first into something that someone had posted. It seems that PMS for the northerners is coming in fast, I hope this isn't an indication of things to come....but I fear that it is. I agree that we try very hard to keep this site PG rated and free of Politics and such issues. There are thousands of websites that you can visit to argue with people about everything under the sun....98 cents less than a buck
  14. Hell someone could fly out from California ....and yes we do need to make Lewis chase this "Gift" we wont be able to make it as we are tied up that weekend.
  15. I'm liking the sounds of both of them, Carl is close so if he puts it on the table early I could eat there and then fly out to Vegas and have a late supper with Ron and Linda....Hmmmmmm:scratchchin: BTW Carl...dont listen to Dano, he wouldn't know how to properly taste that pie. I mean look at him, how can a skinny guy like him have the proper tastebuds to distinguish good taste.
  16. Buying a Carbtune is a great investment no matter what bike you have. I have tuned 2, 3 and 4 cylinder bikes with it. Anytime you get multiple carbs that need to be synced, this will work. I have one and it's more than paid for itself several times over. They really aren't that hard to do, and anytime you do any maintenance to the fuel or air delivery systems on any bike you should check the sync. I have seen carbs come back from the dealership WAY off. This is my piece of mind to make sure it's right
  17. I know that many have used them with great results. They are in business to make money, and anyone that has had their own business knows what a PITA that is. Their honesty is refreshing in this day and age, if we can, I suggest we help them in whatever way possible
  18. But he owns a town in Ohio
  19. Congrats to the Redneck couple!!
  20. Easy, Easy, easy.....
  21. WOW! That is a beast, I can only imagine what was going through his mind trying to keep the gun steady
  22. No bore my friend, nice to see him with all 10 fingers and toes. Spoil them when they are little, I loved having mine with us especially when they were under a year old. They grow up way too fast, our are now 10 and 11
  23. If you have the option, buy the heavier rated table, also get the one that has the rear drop out floor to remove the rear wheel.
  24. The windshield on all the 1st gens are the same.
