If you like really off the wall... Try some Dr. Hook stuff... Most of it could never air on the radio. "Get Your Rocks Off" "Freakers Ball" "Acupulco Goldie" "Roland the Roadie" "Lady Godiva" to name a few

Now you have to figure out how MB measures. Do they measure directly behind the pipes, 2 ft away revving at 3000 rpm.... or 10 ft away, at the side of the bike at idle... or? If it isn't spelled out in their ordinance then they can make the outcome whatever they want it to be. Just fyi.

I wouldn't mind doing something like that... but I'm on the fence as far as believing or not. I just haven't had any experiences. Now, HUGE lighted objects in the sky that make no noise as they pass 80 ft above you... THAT, I have seen so I have to believe!

Driver's back rest
BigBoyinMS replied to Bluesman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I have a Diamond R on mine and I also thought it pushed me forward. I took the lower bracket off and turned it backwards. Doing that put it too far back but I taped a thin piece of metal under the pivot point as a shim and it's perfect for me. -
I saw it when it was a new movie. That was Chevy Chase that said that line. And he had good reason to.

Look again. It's a butterfly knife. He opens it then attaches it point up to the turntable. He did a good job other than letting the viewers see the fake blade sticking to the back of his hand.

Blazing Saddles... Doesn't get any better than that!

Our London buddy had a good idea. If it was me, I would search out a tire retread business and see if they could put a C/T cap on a M/C tire. Might even be able to choose the tread design.

Y'all did notice he kept his palm facing the camera until he slapped the cup? At the very beginning when he is flipping the knife you can see the fake blade on his hand.

I think the license plate for me would be... "CUTMEOFF"

Wow... I'm surprised! It only pulls 4 amps! Shouldn't be a problem at all. Just watch the weight. It's 17 lbs empty.

The thing in the article that stood out to me was that is would be priced to compete with the H-D Ultra. That says, "Priced WAY too high!" to me.

It's still there. Just go to ebay and search for 180317769854 Looks to be it really good shape. -
All I can speak of is my experience but I can't tell any difference in the handling. I still ride it exactly the same and don't even think about it. And that is a comment that I have heard some others make on the Darksiders forum. FYI, I'm running 40lbs where most start adjusting it down after a break-in period. As long as it keeps riding and handling as it does, I'll keep it there. As I like to say... My Kumho was 1/3 the price of a M/T, should get three times the mileage and has about 25% higher weight rating. And no change of handling in my case. Can't beat that! The ONLY negative was the high pressure to seat it. It took 110lbs on one side and 112 lbs on the other. Our bike wheels have a bead on the rim lip that, I guess, is a retaining bead to keep the tire from unseating if you loose pressure. Again, I guess that's what it's for. The tire has to jump that before it seats. I tried to find an inexpensive spare wheel when I decided to mount the CT. I was going to have the bead machined off to see if that helped. But I wasn't willing to spend another $250-$300 just to experiment.

My homemade 2 bottle manometer works great... I just have to move the two hoses as I make each adjustment. But for $10 I can live with that.

I work at a car dealer and I've had it in my Road Star tires since April. Haven't had to add any pressure since then. In fact, if I'm loosing any it's from when I check the pressure! I work at a different dealer now that doesn't have the machine or I would have it it my Venture.

1996 rsstd, exhaust popping?
BigBoyinMS replied to okiestrrider's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
You may be able to adjust it out with the PMS adjustment. You should be able to find a how-to by searching here or at http://www.venturers.org/Tech_Library/ or http://forums.delphiforums.com/vrider/start You got a deal for that price! -
1996 rsstd, exhaust popping?
BigBoyinMS replied to okiestrrider's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Sounds like a combination of lean condition and maybe leak in the exhaust. Both will cause the popping. Lean will cause bad mileage. Edit: Man, that's a good looking bike! -
Hope it works for you guys. I bought one a few months ago and couldn't get it to read the same RPM twice. At idle, got everything from 5000 to 12000.

Not too weird... I love fried tripe (cow's stomach lining) and chitlin's are pretty good if done right. Gator, shark and raccoon.

Since eBAy owns PayPal, here is another story for you... 4-5 years ago I was browsing around on eBay and something I wanted to see was in the 'Adult' section and they required a CC# as proof of age. Hmm, ok, it's eBay. I can trust them. So I pulled out a CC that I never used and typed it in. A few weeks later I get a note from the CC company asking that I call them. (No, they didn't call me.) It seems someone had used that card to subscribe to some porn site and to book a cruise! Of course, I explained to the CC people about using it to verify on eBay and at no other time was it given out. So, even though eBay may be on the up and up, they are only as good as their employee's. Anyway, didn't cost me anything. Hopefully, they prosecuted someone tho.

Since I didn't need a wall mount, I did some research and ended up with a 61" 1080p DLP from Samsung. Bought it online at Vanns.com for about the price of a 46" LCD. Saved over $200 buying online too. And no, I won't be replacing bulbs either. This is the newest version that uses an LED lightsource.

Damn global WARMING!

I kept expecting that but I think that I learned that they can't debit; you have to initiate it. I also learned that they will attempt 'collections' but it's all talk. THEY made the decision to refund the guy money; not me.
