  1. Considering my recent state of mind, I prolly did say that. I know the cement works great for bonding and I have heard the Acetone/ABS dust-shavings works great for filler.
  2. I noticed that the upholsterers on the car shows on TV uses a little heat and/or steam to help them coerce the leather to fit properly. Might work with a heat gun held back considerably.
  3. You really shouldn't try to drag me in that hole with you. I got all day at work to fill him in on Kreggerdoodelisms. And some of them are true!
  4. Ooh, are you gonna get it mister.....
  5. I've heard you can also mix Acetone with ABS shavings to make filler. That would probably be a lot better than the cement.
  6. warranty... That never occurred to me. I know you're leaving this weekend, but if they have one in stock, let them fix it. If not, or if you don't want to wait.....
  7. I doubt if the electrics are affected by the trailer hitch wiring and the fuel filter is tucked in pretty tight, so I wouldn't think the hose to be kinked. We need to pull the fuel pump discharge hose loose from the system and see if there's any pressure. Mine sounded like it was working, but wouldn't pump. Need to pull the tank again and pull the hose where it hooks up to the carbs. Could be when the tank is removed, we'll see something wrong. Can we come over Thursday evening?
  8. Dave, If you want we can come check the pump for you. I have an aftermarket pump on mine. We can install one for you. If you go to Yammi dealer, they'll have to order it to the tune of $200+. The Mr. Gasket pump is available at most Auto Parts stores for around $40.00. Ponch
  9. Best wishes Don. [/url]
  10. LilBit wants on a ride (behind Dane, not me!)
  11. I went back to wearing a "Doo Rag" because of oily skin. The liner was getting grungy. LilBit uses natural ingredients for cleaning. She keeps a spray bottle filled with an equal mixture of vinegar and water. I soaked the liner with it, scrubbed it a little, wiped it out, soaked it again, wiped it out again and let it dry. It looks and smells Brand New now.
  12. Awesome! You go girl!
  13. Yup, some pics are better unposted. I think you can agree.

  19. Dave, We'll get er true for ya.
  20. Randy, I can make you a blank plate and laminate it or you can paint it if you want.
  21. I can do (2) 2 1/16" gauges or (1) 2 1/16" gauge plus (1) 1 7/8" tach in the original configuration plate. That way you could have 2 gauges in one (the Smith dual gauge) plus the tach.
  22. No room 2" or larger gauges plus a tach. Can possibly do (2) 1 1/2" plus (1) 2 1/16" gauge, but it will be tight.

  24. Randy, I haven't started producing them yet, but this is what I have going. http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv87/dawarren77377/Gauges/DSCF5297.jpg?t=1273068796 It uses 1 1/2" gauges and the 1 7/8" Drag Specialties Tach. I have to tweak it a little for clearance between the bottom of the tach and the bottom of the inner fairing, It is steel with black (smoke) lexan laminate. I plan to make some with Carbon fibre laminate and white (or any other color) mother of pearl guitar pickgaurd material laminated to steel.
  25. 2 kewl! Keeley's the best.
