    Moly 60.

I plan to grease up every thing in the rear end and the driveshaft of my RSV while the tires off for some fresh rubber. Should I use moly 60 on all the gears and the hub fingers or should I used bearing grease on the hub gears and fingers?

    Clymer Manual?

Yep, Just saw one on ebay for 15 bucks.
  8. I was thinking of buying a Clymer Manual, but after thinking about it do I really need one? What I mean is, can a Clymer manual do any more or have more info then what I can find here? So far I've never not been able to get a tech question answered! And sometimes there's even a little humor involved? So what do you think do I need a Clymer Manual?

    Tire Question.

So is the Bias the correct tire for the rear?
  13. I'm looking at some new tires for my RSV. I've found a Dunlop 404 for the rear and the size says 150/90B15 H74. I'm not sure what the "B" stand for? I also found a 404 for the front and the size does not have the "B" in it.
  14. Buy It!! Quick or someone else will!

I did this conversion to my 05 RSV before I sold it. I loved the look and am in the process or converting my 02 RSV. I'll be sure to show it off when it's done.
  16. Has anyone used the vacume storage bags with the hand held pump for traveling? I'm planning for a June trip and thinking I might try one of this.

    Lost Post

It’s really too bad it got pulled. I had two rather lengthy posts in that one. There was info and views I was very proud to share with other members here. I was by no means offended by any of the post by other members and I don’t think either of my posts were offending to any of the 1,400 plus viewers. I really don’t feel anyone got out of line. We all have our own views on topics like this and sharing those views with other members is what keeps members coming back. It shouldn’t matter if it’s your view on how to clean your bike or your view on law enforcement. I’m just sayin, that all.

    Vacation Plans.

I'm thinking we'll spent a entire day in the Upper. It all depends on how the prior few days go. I did the tunnel of trees 5 yrs ago. If I recall we stopped for a bite to eat at a German food place. Can't remember what it was called. The food was not all that good, but the BEER was Cold. I so love a cold beer after a hot day of riding.
  19. A buddy and I plan to head out on June 29 and head into Canada for a four day trip. We will cross in Windsor and take rt3 (Talbott Trail) to Niagara Falls the first day and then wing it from there. We plan to go north from the falls to a little town called McDougal, and them toward Sault St Marie where we'll cross back in to Michigan. I do hope to have time to make it the the PIE CO. in Traveres City MI. From anyone up there are there any must sees or roads to ride?
  20. It seems milwaukee tool has come out with a battery powered heated jacket. Has anyone here tried it yet? http://www.tools-plus.com/milwaukee-2330.html

  22. I agree with Freedbird. Wish the PO of my 2002 RSV would have not done the mod.
