Looks like NJ and Nyc took the worst of it, some major flooding.

We lucked out, was up all nite manning the sump pumps (3) but we never lost power and they all did their jobs. I actually bought a hand pump last year as a back-up and we practiced using it last nite to see if it would do the job, it worked great. No big trees down in our area, my son had one fall on his house but no major damage. October in the NE has been pretty interesting the last few years:doh: Craig

1987 Venture Royal known issues

Hey another guy from Reading Pa!! Welcome, I had an 87 for a few years it was a great bike. Only issue I had was the slow starter especially when hot, it always started tho and can be fixed with battery and cable upgrade. My bike was in excellent shape and well maintained so I never experienced the problems from neglect. Skydoc is a Pa member and a wizz on first gens he can help with any problems you have. I am in Shillington, where is the bike you are looking at? Craig -
