    We had a talk about the saddle bags with the rep. They are bigger than they look. The door has a design that holds stuff in place. Plus you can almost go though to the other side. Compared to the 35,ooo Ultra this is a geat bike for 22,000. And hey Don the stereo is great.

    Being from Detroit, this amuses, and refreshes me. Man you gonna dis " Motown " I agree that alot of this top 40 music sucks. What happen to Rock n Roll bands ? Now it seems all the kids like this hiphop crap. As far as Willie goes he is a great song writer and has some great songs but some of his singing sounds like a winnie cow giving birth.lol

    That bike has more room on it than a RSV. Im also looking at this bike. It will grow on you fast. It looks really cool when you take the trunk off.

    42,000. The pictures make it look a little better than it is. It would need paint too.

    If somebody wants this bike whole this is the last chance before I tear her down and sell it in pieces. It need tires, fork seals, exhaust leaks from bottom and the seat has a seam that has come apart in the front. There is also a piece of the front faring missing about two inches around. Motor runs rough. 1200.00 takes it whole or it's comming apart next week and hitting ebay.

    Yep Dan he sure does. When we were in Eureka springs last year who lead the pack ? First Gen. Second Gen. followed up and they did excellent in the turns as well I have to give them credit for that. But the First Gen. just out performed the Second gen. all the way around Wild hair 39 - rustyrecycledtoy - bigin were leading the pack, they made those turns look easy. I myself was back in the pack, had Peggy with me so I had to take it easy on her, but I did get to do a couple of wheelies with her. So how many touring bikes do you know of that can do a wheelie with two up? Don't get me wrong I do like the Second gen. very much would Love to own one some day for touring the country. But for pure power and beast performance I'll stick with my 83 beast! buddy Hate to tell you Buddy, but the last couple of times I had the pleasure of seeing Lowell he was on an Kaw. Voyager

    dan I dont want to see you in trouble. Lew you telling me that with what you paid for your new one and the 500 a 1st gen is worth in excellent condition you could of had a RSV ? Now that I think about it some more the RSV is not for everyone. First of all you can't be to old to hold it up because it does weigh alot and second Ive seen a couple of guys that are to short for them. So if your old and short the RSV is not even close to what you should be on.

    Lets just get down to the facts, 1st gen guys are just to cheap to buy a real bike. bottom line. Who wants to ride around on an old grandpa with one leg anyhow.

    Looks like you guys are having a great time. Thanks for rubbin-in the pictures to us working stiffs up here in the cold. I will have to have a talk with Lonna because for as long as I have known you guys I never got any scketty. It is one of my favorite dishes.
