  1. The eating part is half the fun Gary..... Im pretty fond of food myself.
  2. That's what I said last night, you were missed. I really liked that place on the river.
  3. Kelly and I had a great time. What a great turn out. It was great to see everyone . I can't believe all our good friends from over the river came all that way . Just needed Charlie and Gary N to finish that gang. Wish it was a longer visit, wasn't enough time to talk with everybody and get to know the new people. Hope to see everybody at the Motorcycle show in FEB.
  4. So for that ra-tion-al the HD should get the same consideration being it only has two pistons.
  5. That would be great for traveling on 696 or M59 on the east side.
  6. Starting to look like a family reunion now ...
  7. Well Dave if they let HD guys come I'm sure that a boater can come too. Captain Swifty
  8. Looks like Big Mike and his wife Lori might be coming too.
  9. Looks like Kelly and I are coming to see everybody. Seems like I havent seen anybody since last June. I mean if Al and Diane are going to grace us and take a few minutes from there new place we all need to come and see them .
  10. Dont know how many drag racers are around here but I would like to point out reaction to the lights has nothing to do with time and speed with this type of racing (sure it shows if your timimg is good off the lights without a default) . The clock starts when you pass the beam.
  11. I will take that bet , but with a Road Glide
  12. I just bought an Ovation off ebay last week never tried one before. It is supposed to be on my porch today.
  13. Big plans starting as we speak and more chrome isnt in the plan (yet) but I can tell you that I hope you have that cookie of a bike you call brown surar there at MD . You can borrow my to help you get it there . You know I have to watch everything I say around my customers it gets old . I like to have some harmless fun around here. Just dont talk about shrimps on touring bikes because that really gets them going.
  14. Hey Dan I will add to it. How about this . " Trade it for a Harley "
  15. That is a heck of a story, hope the bumps and scratches heal . Im cant stop laughin:rotf:
  16. I was thinking about getting out but didn't ,does that count ?
  17. I agree 70 is nice but I will take a Michigan Summer over that 100 plus weather . I would also take a 40 to 50 degree day over a 80+ one for riding . As I tell my guys "the heat is in the tools."
  18. So Im at a union shop doing some work. I have two guys there. There is a pallet in the way of the door I need to get in . Waited 1 hour for the key guy to unlock door . Waited one hour to find out that the propane guy was being waited on to change tank which was right next to the hilo. So the driver could come and help . One break and a lunch time we could get in the door. I could of done all this in 5 minutes. Skilled trades are allowed in to funny. Glad the job was a T/M job.
  19. wow thanks for that ,,, I was getting worried
  20. glad your in fair condition, I worry about this at night
  21. My new Harley truck has the 6.2. I just pulled a 4 place sled trailer loaded up north and was getting 12.3 to 13.1 mpg . Without the trailer it was around 15 or 16 mpg . The truck still has under a 1000 miles so I would think that it will get better when it's broke in a little. I was also looking at the diesel but it only gets a little better mpg's . I thought they were way better on gas but there not unless your pulling something. My neighbor just bought a F350 Diesel and was telling me all the extra money you spend driving one . Like 200.00 oil changes and the exhaust addative you have to have now at 30.00 every 3000 miles. Plus the extra 7000.00 for the option. I got 8.5 to 7.5 mpgs going to Sturgis with my 2009 F150 pulling over 5000 lbs with the 5.4 . I hope this 6.2 will do better. It has enough power to pull anything.
  22. You can try mine anytime Gary ,
  23. I had the Katzkin kit put in my 2009 F150 with heat in the front and they did the back seat too for 900.00. It was also done in two tone leather. The factory leather from the dealer was like 4000.00.
  24. This is some great advise from experience, and is what I was looking for from my VR friends.
  25. I don't kmow what you were on Gary but this 103 is as smoooth as a Venture. At a stop they shake but give em a little gas and you would be amazed. Good try on blaming the HD thou.
