    Buddy , RIGHT NOW, it looks like Ike will make landfall about 90 miles NORTH , of us! we'll get a little wind, and probably a lot of rain, but YOU will probably get hammered , worse than me! i got all of the windows boarded up, started moving "stuff" around in the yard, got too hot , and said "the hell with it"!!! if it ain't here after the blow, then i probably didn't need it anyhow! lol just jt:dancefool::scorched:

    hard to tell, from the first pic, but i will say this. a carbtune will not function properly , laying down . if it is perfectly vertical, does your static reading even out? just jt

    NO Sir. ! did you know that there is enough Gold ,Silver, and precious jewels BURIED ON THE ISLAND, to make Bill Gates look like a pauper??? john singer, (brother to the man who invented the sewing machine), burried hundreds of pounds of the stuff, just before he fled the island. this was just a few weeks BEFORE the Civil war. if ya wanna know more, all ya gotta do is ask! lol just jt

    Jack. when do you find time to ride your bikes? looks to me , like someone spends a LOT of time cleaning and polishing on ALL of your bikes. by the way, how about a picture of your "remuda", all lined up, and posing for a group pic. that would be way cool! just jt:banana:

    locals who live near "padre island ", off the Texas middle and lower coast, love to see these "gulf storms", roll in. reason being is that they ALWAYS wash up more "gold doubloons" and "silver pieces of eight", onto the beaches. of course it is illegal to pick them up, to keep, because our govt. in it's benevolence has made the whole island into a "national seashore park".so , if you find coins, chains, or precious stones on the island, you are SUPPOSED to stop by the park ranger's office and turn them in. YEAH, RIGHT! just jt:whistling:

    well folks, i spent ALL morning , removing all the plastic parts from my scooter. brought them all in the house, IF my lean-to garage collapses, at least i won't have to try to buy all the parts. i don't think the garage is heavy enough to damage the frame, handlebars , etc. this one AIN'T gonna be fun! just jt

    yeah, Buddy. it'll probably "get me first", but there ain't no sense in All of us getting blown away! i have been waiting for years, to get a "picture" of the eye wall, from inside of a hurricane. this might be my chance! i never realized how much STUFF, i have accumulated in my yard, that can be blown around. my "new years" resolution, is to get rid of a whole lot of STUFF!!(if Ike don't do it for me). lol just jt:thumbsup2:
