I went to the Great Southern Cycle Expo in Jackson(MS) Saturday. As expected, it was 85% H-D but I started out parking next to an '07 RSV and there was an '05(I think) a few spaces away. As I walked in there was another '07 by the gate and another super clean '05 not far away. BUT, as I was leaving I passed the first Midnight that I have seen in person. WOW! I'm not usually into black bikes (even tho my other bike is an '06 Roadie Midnight) but there is something about the way the Midnight RSV puts it all together. It's hard to believe that sales were so slow that they stopped the Midnights in '07.

This thing is BRIGHT!! Recommend to anyone who rides. Got it at Custom Dynamics and they were super to work with ! Have a GREAT DAY!! Be Safe!! Brian D.

I guess I'm too far out of touch to know that an 18mm plug even existed, but dag nabbit, that's what my NGKs are in the '85. I'm guessing that all of you already knew about these because I'm the usually last to hear about anything. But, 18mm and not 5/8 or 3/4?? WOW, what a hoot!

Sooo....as I was reading the specs for that new Kawi I couldn't help but remember all those wishes expressed on this site....... So how many of you are now ready to line up wallet in hand? Not only did they seem to listen to your wishes but even surpass them in some cases, like that smart ABS that turns into conventional at low speed - must say, that sure got to me. No nose dipping at stops and no skidding...WOW!!!!! I figgure if all the reviews were putting the Nomad above HD & Victory, then this thing ought to leave them in a dust cloud! WOW, I'm excited!:happy65:

I got a new set of Michelin Commanders for the 93 awhile back, and the stealer wanted over $200 to install-em even though I purchased the tires from them. (what a rip) Did a little nosing around and found a very experienced hobbiest that works on scoots to support his Big-Dog/Buell habbit. Got his name from a good friend with a Harley addiction. "Change my tires?" "Sure" says he. "While yer at it, how about adjusting steering head bearings, synching the carbs and servicing the rear drive?" "No problem" says he. About the same amount that the Stealer wanted to mount the tires. He actually pulled and inspected the head bearings packed and adjusted them along with the other mentioned service. Took it to him Saturday morning and he called me Sunday early afternoon saying it was done. WOW!! All I can say is I would'nt have believed there be this much difference. No low speed wobble. Tracks like she is on a rail, and almost leans herself into the curves. Has torque right out of the shoot, and idles like a new Lincoln. Can't wait to get her out and let her stretch her legs. Any locals need a refferal, PM me and I'll hook you up. DJ :thumbsup2:
