  2. A very special cat (see link) needs rescuing in Columbus. http://www.devonrexbreedclub.com/rescue2.html Devon's are very special, I should know I have two. They love people, purr like crazy and are the best bed warmers for those cold winter nights. They shed very little and many folks that are alegic to regular cats can have Devons with no ill effects. Take a look at the link , If you can help you will not be sorry. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e224/royalsteve/MickeyandI2.jpg
  3. Hey Guys and gals, I'm back with some 1st Gen. questions. I am wanting to change the oil and filter on my brothers (BearForce1) 88 Venture Royale. What if any differences is there between a first gen and a second gen.? Same tools, filter, fairing removal? If there is a link, that would be great (I couldn't find one). I have done a 2nd gen a few times in the past. Next question, he gets a horrible "wobble" when he takes his hands off the handlebars. Is there a link for tightening the head bolt or replacing the bearings? Any info on these two items would be great!
  4. I was on the yamaha site and seen that on august 9 on Jessy James is a dead man show jessy is going to ride the new VMAX. So on august 9 on spike TV check it out i know i will and also know others that like Mr.Max will also.

  8. The South Carolina Dept of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is trying to make available a new license tag available to Honorable Discharged Veterans. They are making one available for cars and one available for motorcycles. For each, they need 400 applications received to the DMV soon. The car applicants now have their 400. They only have 250 MC applicants as of the 6/17/09. Deal is off if they don't have 400 by July 1. If you are licensed in SC and are interested please follow the link below, then click to download the "MOTORCYCLE" form. MV-37B You will send it in with $5 to "pre-apply". If they do not get the 400 they will return you money. I believe the special tag fees are lower than typical vanity tags,,, if at all. The tag is displayed on the link site, it is blue background, says VETERAN and has a star. (see below) I was not in a war zone (but I did kept the Viet Cong out of Wichita!), so this tag is for all vets. If you cannot download the form, I can email a PDF copy to you (I went by the Hwy Dept and got one). PLEASE TELL YOUR SC VET FRIENDS! 13. I was made aware that the link to request a VR Award was not working. I found that if you used the link in the left menu, it worked OK but if you used the link in the menu bar at the top, it would not allow you to request and award. I have now resolved that problem. Thanks to all for the heads up.

  16. The one thing I have learned since joining this web site is the amount of knowledge contained and shared by the members. I am in the market for an intercom system because I am tired of hollering and getting punched in the side, tapped on the helmet, and ignored when I have a question of my passenger. Here is a link to the unit I am considering. Any suggestions? BTW...I have read several links about the subject but I just want to be sure. http://www.wearecb.com/store/motorcycle-intercom-rf-limited-riderlink-st1-audio-system-p-3122.html
  17. I got this in an email, thought it was kinda cool. I wonder if GM will ever make it back to the days when they made stuff worth collecting? I hope the link works. www.tinyurl.com/bits-001
  18. The South Carolina Dept of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is trying to make available a new license tag available to Honorable Discharged Veterans. They are making one available for cars and one available for motorcycles. For each, they need 400 applications received to the DMV soon. They only have about 70 MC applicants as of the end of March. If you are licensed in SC and are interested please follow the link below, then click to download the "MOTORCYCLE" form. You will send it in with $5 to "pre-apply". If they do not get the 400 they will return you money. I believe the special tag fees are lower than typical vanity tags,,, if at all. (see below) I was not in a war zone (but I did kept the Viet Cong out of Witchita!), so this tag is for me, a vet who supports others. 19. Hello all, Is any one able to give me a quick fix or tell what button I have pushed to have lost the New Posts link button on the tool bar for this site. When I log in now as of about 5 days ago, I lost the New Posts link button and the forum of active threads just appears when logging in, instead. Thanks for any help
  20. This is not bike related but I wanted to let anyone who might be interested know that I put my Classic 1965 Chevy C-10 Pick-up truck on ebay for a quick sell to raise cash. This truck has the popular and classic short bed stepside body style with the small rear window which makes it the most popular and collectible body style for the 1965 year model. You can see the auction by following the link below. Sorry the link did not work or I don't know how to post the link correctly but the item number is 330332649886
  21. Just checking my streaming software...please click on this link and then post whether it worked for you: http://216.167.132.75:7200/listen.m3u
  22. Below is a link to one of the best pieces of sound engineering work I think I have ever seen. It is a composite audio/video of song whereby additional tracks were laid in by different singers and musicians from different places around the world. The finished product is tremendous! The song itself is that classic standard "Stand By Me" originally released in 1955 by The Staple Singers and released again in 1961 by the Drifters. This composite version is a real toe tapper. So turn up the speaker volume and click link and push play http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=2539741
  23. Ain't this the truth, Just watch this music video and tell me this isn't happening all over!! Click here: They're Shutting Detroit Down Ian Hope the link works!
