We're getting for our trip to the Black Hills in SD the first of next month, and looking for a place to stay round Deadwood. We would like to stay at a smaller Family owned Mom & Pop place close to Deadwood. Does anyone know of such a place in the area? Looking forward to all the great rides and sights that I have read and heard about. Thanks for any help you can give me. BigD

I just wanted to thank Dan , for inviting me and to everyone who came, my mother-in-law had the best day shes had for awhile, I hope everyone made it home safe and sound. It went so fast I am sorry If i did not get to introduce myself to everyone. I will do a better job next time. ( maybe we need name tags Cool-Ones mind you ) anyway I will definately be looking forward to next ride. Erik Zornes:97:

Don't know why mine are being so difficult right now, but I'm trying to take off the sidebags from an 84. I can't remember if you pull out then forward, forward then out, out then back, or back and out. They seem to be extremely tight for some reason and my frustration is about to break something. And YES, I already unlocked them, that's about the only thing that has worked right lately. btw, the trunk came right off... Someone's gotta know how to do this right??? Todd

Oh no! Not another tire thread!!!! Nah - just saying I ordered my new Venoms for my RSV. I just hope they live up to the hype! If so - thanks to all who swear by these! I am looking forward to a "new" ride in a couple of weeks. I have to wait until 8/8 which is the soonest I can get her in for inspection.

Just made reservations at the Comfort Inn in Kitchener. Eileen will not make this one so my son Dylan is coming along for the ride. I would like to have stayed in one of the cabins but I have FREE rooms at Comfort and that is a strong motivator. We will not be arriving until sometime Tuesday afternoon and look forward to seeing everybody. Anybody else staying at the Comfort Inn?

I just listed a new RSTD Mustang seat on Ebay. I took it in for trade on a backrest that I made for another board member. It is for sale cheap because I don't care for the seating position it gives. It pushes you forward about 2 inches farther than the stock seat. The item number is 120279187965. AL

howdy all. need a little help here. the cb and radion antenna's have a springloaded slip collar. You slide it upward an inch or so and it exposes an elbow hinge. This allows you to fold the antenna forward for things like putting a cover over the bike. My CB one is lined up just right. It folds forward and ends up right next to the bike. The radio antenna elbow is 45 degrees off, so it will only fold out away from the bike. I can't really tell from looking where to put a wrench to fix this. Also, it looks like there may be a set screw of some kind involved, but I'm not to sure about that yet either. If i did a good enough job describing things, and you can help me out, please let me know. thanks in advance!!! papa smurf

An "intrathecal drug delivery systems"? I went to see my neurosurgeon today and he recommended this as a way of relief of my constast low back and leg pain. I have looked on the web and found alot of sites that expain what it is but no where can I find a forum or blog by people that have had the procedure. I have not had a pain free day on almost 3 years and this really sound like the way to get rid of the pain BUT I am alittle afraid of the unknown. If any of you have some information--please forward it to me.

Does anyone having an 86 thru 93 VR, use drivers floorboards? If they are available, I'm thinking that they would put my feet in a better position, a little forward and a little lower. I wonder if I could adapt the rear floorboards to the front? Thanks, Steve

Hey folks, I'm going up to Wichita, Kansas on October 16th to pick up my "new" 07 RSV from a friend there. Probably gonna take a quick run up to KC to see a friend there, then head back to North Texas. Sure love to see anyone who would like to meet up along the way or maybe do a bit of riding together. My broken collar bone seems to be healing OK, and I'm really looking forward to getting back on the road! Goose
