This thread is painting an upleasant visual picture in my mind!!
-
yeah.... you become wiser in your recognition of whether it's a fart or not!
-
yep...melting like crazy here...and now we have to contend with plugged drains on the streets.... instant lakes everywhere...what a mess!
-
EEEWWWWWWWWWWWW...YUKKKKKKKKK!!!!
-
heh... I go around in a T-shirt alla time....underneath a regular shirt and a hoodie LOL

I opened the garage door, got on the scoot, fired her up....and pretended .... it was AWESOME!

I told my wife... "no clothing" (she loves to buy me clothes). What do I get? ... clothing! socks, shorts, pants, boots, t-shirts, thermal bottoms.... well, she did good coz I needed all of it! But I got no CHROME! My son's left mirror on his Sportster fell off last summer...kinda vibrated loose...a nature of the beast. Since then I rib him about Harleys loosing parts from vibration, etc. I got him a new mirror for Christmas...when he opened it I said "son, I bought you a new Harley but by the time I got home, all the other parts vibrated off and this mirror is all I have left" LOL (now you HD guys... it's only in jest!)

Brian... you may have that beautiful sunshine but we don't have permanent flat spots on our tires! :rasberry: Thump-thump Thump-thump oh yea... nor do we have "snotcicles" LMAO!!

Snowblower??? That's a new word for me! Seriously, here on the "wet" coast, we never get enuf snow to warrant having a snowblower. Correction...we RARELY get enuf snow! That being said, I've never used a snowblower anywhere I've lived because I never felt it was necessary. I have had a number of occasions where I've used a tractor with a plow or a front-end loader.

ha!!... only 23 years? you're lucky! Except for the odd time or 2 while living here on the west coast, I'd say I've shovelled snow every year for the past 55 years!. I'm 62 now so that means I started when I was 7. During the winter in some areas I've lived, shovelling snow is a daily chore and in some cases, 3 times a day ... not to mention all those years I helped shovel snow off the outdoor rinks. Quite frankly, I'd much rather be somewhere where it rarely snows, the weather is warm enuf for riding all year long and I could give all my winter clothes to someone else. Maybe one day... but then again, there's that old saying "be carful what you wish for" LOL (ask me why that saying concerns me LOL)

A panoramic view of our place Christmas morning 2008 (created with 7 individual pics) http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/pp16/SilvrT/ChristmasMorningPanoramic.jpg Now, as soon as I get all that snow shovelled off the driveway, out comes the scoot as we'll be heading out for a wonderful day ride.... (in our dreams!)

The "About Us" page has 2 different sized fonts in the body text. The first paragraph is larger than the rest. Other than that, very clean, loads quick, easy to navigate...good job!

WOW ... a lot of miles for an '07 tho! I was looking at an '05 Silver with 45000 KILOMETERS before I bought my '06. It had a lot of extras...private deal...guy wanted $14000...didn't want to dikker so I turned it down. Glad I did but an '07 for under 10 grand...sure sound like a deal but I'd be wanting one with a lot less miles.

Don.. we've never "met" but through this "family" I feel as though we have...and I feel the same with many of the others here whom I've never met in person. What a great place you and everyone else here has made this to be! To you, Don, your family, and the rest of those here whom I've met in person, to those I feel I've "met" and to everyone else on this site and all your families, we (Nina & I) wish you all a wonderful Christmas and the very best in the coming year. ...now I must go and shovel more snow!! ARRGGGHHHHHHHHHHH bahhhhhh humbug! LOL

non committal eh? ROFL (or one could deduce that it was a passing glance at first and then you had a closer look LOL)

Did you take a close look or was it just a passing glance?

Brian, I can think of ONE "cardio workout" that I much prefer to any other and it definately doesn't involve cold & snow :rotf: And yes, right after shovelling that snow, I went into my garage and sat on my scoot...dreaming of warmer days while I sipped on a hot buttered rum!

A few weeks ago (when we had no snow and it was still warm enuf to ride) I stopped in at a local Yammie dealer and was chatting with a salesman...he asked "is your Midnight a US model?" ... I said NO...why? ... he said he hadn't seen many midnight ventures with the studded seat before...only ones from the US. I said as far as I knew, all midnights came with the studded seat. Personally, I like it and it goes with the overall look of the bike.
