I believe its a peek at the future. Its to small to be a serious long range touring bike...but don't be surprised if you see them install a trunk and all the electronics on a large frame, big bore v twin bagger. -
We got ours today. Looking good.

Air shocks and air bags is a little over kill. I have a 99 rsv with motortrike with sring over progressives and air bags. I have the spring overs set stiff and run about 30 psi in the bags. combined wgt for wife and I is around 470lbs. If I were you I would run very little to no air in the shocks and play with the air bag till you find the sweet spot. Trikes ride a little on the harsh side no matter what you do with the suspention. You'll get use to it.

If you can't afford a trike conversion its the second best thing. They are not as stable as a conversion but it will do the job. You will go through rear bike tires a lot faster. They do take while to dial in to get the ride and handling your looking for.
-
At least I'll alway be able to find used parts for my trike. Just thing in 10 years I'll be able to replace the motor with an all most new low milage motor. I should be able to keep this thing going for at least 40 years.:dancefool:Oh wait.... that would make me 97. Ok maybe not 40.

I don't like it. The 99 -2012 were a much nicer looking bike.

Nope, nothing we can do about fed taxes. But every little bit helps, so living in a state that doesn't tax mil. retirement is a good thing, unless its NY. witch does not tax retirement, but you can't afford the property and school taxes here. Forget about heating bills, this alone will kill you.

I spent 6 weeks in Orlando in Aug. when I was in the Navy. I got use to the heat pretty quick. But then again I was also a Steam plant operator at the time. Thats where the name comes from. If it is FL. we choose, It will probably be north central.

Most everything outside of FL. is stick build or over priced. Theres hundreds of mobile/ manufactured communities in FL. And the prices are great, but we would perfer to stay a little more north.

Relax Tom, we still have a couple years, I think. Got to get away from the winters up here. You can keep the white stuff. We know how much you like it.

Robin and I are seriously thinking about retiring in the south and are looking into 55 plus manufactured home communities. We have found a bunch in FLA. But very little to no info in any other states. We are looking in NC, SC, GA, and FL. Does anyone here live in, or know of such communities. Looking for any and all info and opinions.
