My Plumbing Leak Fix Plan - Your Thoughts.
CaptainJoe replied to GolfVenture's topic in Watering Hole
When your working with pipe that cannot be moved on either end , cutting a section out, rounding the inside edges of all pieces and using two rubber collars with stainless steel hose clamps is the best, most economical way. The only thing I've ever seen the rubber collars with stainless steel shielding used on, is pipes that have pressure on them... Natural gas pipes, pumped effluent pipes, water pipes, as the collars without shielding can swell up and burst if under pressure. -
My pics: RAVENS... PATRIOTS... SAINTS... How's that happen??? 49ers win PACKERS...even though I really want the NYG to win... To Heck with it, I'm gonna have to change and go with the GIANTS What say you? This seems to be the year of upsets

I'd be interested in this also on backroads at 55 mph on hot days it would really nice to have a lower windshield. then when doing 70-75 on the interstates just raise it... wondering about scratch resistance. would be nice to have one with f4 plastic top... maybe these two could get together?...

cut out: the shape of a piano approximate size 2' x 2' from a piece of 1/2 plywood glue a hardwood straight edge on across the back top end say 3/4 W x 1/2 D x 2'L measure distance inside miter grove is from your saw blade. glue a piece of hardwood wood on the bottom of the plywood that will fit into your miter grove 3/8 D x 3/4W x 2'L(measure your groves height and width) it will be on the bottom, perpendicular to the top. Take your measurment #1 + a half an inch from the right hand top edge and attach. use wood glue and screws, you can remove screws when glue drys place into groove for miter, start table saw and push the plywood thru which will give you a perfectly fitting edge... this will give you a perfectly smooth surface that is square to your blade will take a pic in a couple min although mine is rpobably 3 ' x 3 ' here they are last pic is of the bottom. nice thing about using this is, if your wood is wet or rough on the bottom, it won't matter as the piece will be lifted and held securely the thickness of the plywoood you use. You can also cut raised panel doors easily smaller if your just doing lumber bigger if your doing larger dimensioned lumber the piano shape allows you get closer

Johnsons paste wax. made of Bees wax? Make sure you wipe it really good after applying, it will make it super slick...and will sink into the pores of the cast iron or aluminum. if you don't get it all off, it could create areas that wont stain evenly... Cast Iron - clean first with wire wheel on grinder or wire brush.. Aluminum - clean first with a brass wire brush... never use a steel wire wheel or brush on aluminum as it will cause it to oxidize...

BEEN THERE... DONE THAT... Wife and I both had them... Had the cortizone shots, custom made orthonics $350 twice for two pairs for my wife. another $350 for mine. Had to quit using mine because it was causing shin problems on my good leg. Went to a Dr Donner in Parkersburg and told him how uncomfortable I was .... dr said it was because your foot is like a spring it actually gets longer if you put your weight on it...trick is to add more support in front of heel and under arch so your foot doesnt extend as much and aggrivate the heel area... Also said a lot of people develop this condition due to inadequate arch support... So if you have deck shoes or the old converse chuck taylor sneakers ...ya better get a pair of felts or foam inserts to support your arches... He came back with two self adhesive felts, rounded triangular in shape, that you place in you shoe under the foam insert and supports you arch right in front of your heel. I walked across the room and for the first time in a year i could walk without wincing... They were 50 cents apiece. I bought 10 pairs and put in all my shoes. After about a month i was totally pain free sculops?? or some such will find correct spelling eventually Long story short I still wear them and have no pain whatsoever. I do remember having to always wear a pair of equipped shoes even to go to the bathroom at night as just one 20' walk without them could undo a weeks worth of healing... Wife also has them in her shoes... Pictures label info: Mooremedical UPN #0-0607415-09217-2 Pedi-pad #106l 1/4" Adh Felt UOM PK/100

"so you're not paying for your cable service now to get MTV, MTV2, and VH1? " Paying close to $150 a month for direct tv and all the premium channels... not really what i'm worried about... sooner or later someones gonna throw the switch and we will be paying the same price for online stuff... the bigger problem is gov at all levels have created apps to accomodate just about everyone... when the switch is thrown... WE will be paying for it big time...
