  4. I've got an old windshield down in the garage... I'll use acetone on it in the morning... will let ya know... actually come to think about it, Wallmart sells those windshields markers in all different colors. Just read the directions on one to find out what disolves it... Hopefully it didnt permanently mark the shield... as they are ment to be used on Glass...
  5. acetone removes permanent marker off of glass and paint without harming it... that being said, if, you try it, use it in an inconspicious place (under chrome trim) before you go Hog wild on it...
  6. Thanks for the advice... Yet another reason for a tri-toon. The heaver people in my party are all scardie cats...LOL, they will all be under the bimini top... Any luck on the drive by? Was it still there?
  7. German Pigs in the blanket or stuffed cabbage: • 1 Large cabbage head • 2-4 lbs lean ground beef • 2 cups rice (uncooked) • 1 onion, large and chopped(uncooked) • 1 qt saurkraut (drained) • 2 qt whole tomatoes, preferabbly home canned, pour the water off of the second qt only and chop up. • 1 tsp. salt &pepper Directions for cooking: • Core cabbage. pull off leaves. In a large boiling pot blanch the leaves until tender. throw leaves in colander to cool off. next take each leaf and cut the center hard stem off so that the leaf is the same thickness. • Mix the raw ground beef and onion together with the rice, and salt & pepper. • Place the cabbage leaves on a neat surface and take a small fist size portion of the meat mix and place in center of leaf. take sides up and overlapp then roll leaf from thick side to tip. • take the smaller blanched cabbage leaves and line a large turkey roaster.(if anything s gonna burn it will be them...) place the pigs in the pan and form two or three rows. take sauerkraut sprinkle over pigs then take chopped tomatoes spread over sauerkraut. then repeat you'll probably end up with 2 rows deep. now pour in the juice from one of the quarts of whole tomatoes..(dont pour in any more liquid or you'll have a big mess to clean up) LOL • Place the covered roaster in oven at 350 for 2 hours then take top off and continue cooking at 350 for another half hour. till golden brown... Dang ...Now I'm getting hungrey In the school cafeteria in Greencastle Pa, pigs in a blanket was a hotdog wrapped in bread dough and baked until brown...Go figure...

  10. Have you owned a pontoon boat before? nope, but I frequently rent them at Peir 54 in Charleston... and A friend of mine at work before I retired, had a 24' pontoon we use to go out on all the time. I currently own a 12' vnose and a 2005 SeaDoo RXP 215 hp Supercharged jet ski to play on. Just sold a 18' shuttlecraft that held 6. Looking for something My mom and Aunt could get into and be comfortable... They are 74 and 75 respectively... Shuttlecraft was way to small, and they had to step down into it which created a big problem... That, plus the grandkids are just Crazy about water so would like to get something i could haul about 10? people... And provide shade to the majority... Potty and 'Pop up' changing enclosure would be nice... I don't know why they tak about older men having to "go" all the time, but I can assure you the wommen and kids do it a lot more than I...LOL Theres a 25' oddessey on the net for $15,000 with only a couple of hrs on the boat.
  11. ragtop69gs "You looking for a V8 Tri-toon ? I may know of one that's got very few hours on it, hardly any hours on it, it sits in his drive on the trailer. I think it's about a 2003-4" That would be great if it was taken care of and is in really good condition, although I'm not famuliar with the gas milage of V8's? was thinking a 75-100 hp would allow me to putt around all day. When I bought my firebird though, they said the v8s actually got better gas milage that the 6 cylinders as they pulled a lower rpm? see if you can me get some contact info for pics and specific info... Thanks Joe
  12. Why in gods name would you ride all the way down there to ride 10 mph with a bunch of smelly bikers? 300 more miles and your in Key Largo...
  13. Monty... Think your right . It only has one axel and I'm thinkin 18' tops... price is still good though if it includes the trailer, and it was well take care of... Ragtop69gs - ya mean if you came across a really nice boat at good price, you wouldn't relay it to me? Damn man thats cold.. We're suppose to be brothers.... I would take ya out to dinner at a place of your choosing...
  14. ragtop69gs- lookin for a newer boat that I don't have to work on... the wife says I need to get a hobby(besides work) Hummingbird- would like someone else to take the depreciation hit.. If ya buy a boat 3-5 years old you save half or more. A triple tubed 26' with 70-100 hp engine and trailer +- $30,000? Case in point , my neighbor went to NC 3 years ago and bought a brand new (2 year old demo) 20' 50 hp and trailer for $8000 something. Monty - a litltle older than I would like . They have marine grade plywood(if origional) and it rots out as well as the vinyl seats. Unles of course they have kep it updated and covered or garaged... i've seen some boats 25 years old that looked brand new course they belonged to older folks and had very little hours. Thanks guys keep you eyes peeled...
  15. dacheedah, You'd get E-TEC over a 4 cycle yamaha 75 hp?
  16. bj66 Thanks I'll check em out... weird how they all collect in Michigan???? Utahadventure... Pontoon boats, like 2nd gens, come with a standard AM/FM CD player, so, since it's not 8-track, I'd have to say second gen...

    GUNS

Reddevilmedic"i like the claymore idea...can we get a group buy??? Today 05:33 PM" No... but you could probably get a visit from the FBI or Homeland Security if you tried?
  18. Would like to purchase a slightly used, 2005 or newer pontoon boat 26-28 footer with trailer.correction: triple tubed would be best but would settle for double tubed. Please keep your eyes open... am willing to travel up to 1000 miles for one. Am located in Sandyville WV
  19. Does the insurance cover parts that fall off? Sorry, I couldn't resist...
  20. Earl, "My Avatar is my "evil twin" whats his name?
  21. "Of course it depends on what you read and what you believe, but I think Firestone took the fall for a (mostly) Ford-created problem." The only thing I remember hearing from that time was directed at the tires being bad... goes to prove lifes not fair, and whoever talks the loudest/most? and has the best lawyers wins...
  22. Freebird"The pic of the camera indicates that they have a profile picture. You have to view their profile to see it. That is a separate thing than the avatar. " Well, it looks like i'm gonna have to get a pic now of the wife and i in front of our bikes.. Least I'm not the only one... LOL thanks Don
  23. phoneman1981 Its not showing up on my computer just a pic of a camera?
  24. Wow, had no idea they sued Uhaul also... Find it kind of hard to believe a jury could find Uhaul at fault when it was clearly a known firestone tire problem... It's getting downright Scary to be in business today...
  25. As theres been no responce to our questions I'm thinking this is just a "what if " question...p
