During my search I noticed some guys saying they been using them without the equalizer and have decided the flash rate to be acceptable. So if I just swapped the bulbs I give up the normal flash and gain some Watts and Amps? Does the equalizer eat up the Watts and Amps I want to save?
-
I replaced the tail light with an LED. Simple enuf. Can I grab LED bulbs for the front markers as well? Or does it not work that way when they have to flash? If I replace the fronts and the tail light, how much wattage and Amps will I save?

Craig, I have had none of those things and no history...prolly gonna find out more in the future!

Well I'm just starting down this road...They say mild. I will be getting more tests in the near future. I'm not terribly worried about this yet as I have to many other things stressing me to the limit! Thank God spring is in the air!!

More specifically blocked arteries? Recently I been told I have "mild" blockage in my lower heart. I don't know what mild means. But I been wondering, what percentage of North American men aged 50 or older walking into a doctors office "wouldn't" have some blockage. In other words would you think it might be common considering our life style in the later 50 yrs? Sure some won't...but over all? Just wondering!!!

When you get things up and running again you can try this: http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?S=1268&ID=1642 Simply buy a drive and plug it in like an old 8 track. Backup your data and remove the drive and store it safely. Runs either USB2 or esata interface. Very handy device! There's also a program called ShadowProtect. It will image a drive very quickly and restore just as quick. I've used it when toying with the pc if I know I might be in danger of doing something bad. Saved my A$$ a couple times. Fantastic software. If combined with the BlacX it's almost full proof!

I just did my oil with the T6 synthetic...I have no reservations! Guys here in my neck of the woods who run a lot of diesel trucks have taken to oil analysis and changing filters only till the oil starts to show actual wear. This synthetic oil can go a long way...

I'd really appreciate that, I always get apprehensive playing around with stuff when I'm not sure what's going on! Wade -

I just got new rubber front and rear. Yet to put a mile on it. However just to be clear, I don't get any vibration at speed with clutch in throttle closed. It's only while revving thru the gears and more revs = more vibration! Thnx all for the help... I got 8000 miles on this thing.Should I be looking at a fuel filter yet? Tough to get at? -

Looks like that Carbtune is the way to go. I'd rather do it myself if it's somewhat straight forward! Does the tank come off? -
AS was suggested, I tried get a feel for my vibration issue I talked to the dealer today. They said it would be a 1hr to 1 1/2 hr to do the job. I was trying to get an idea if it's under warranty...nothing said to that. I also was told that my vibration issues would not likely be solved by a carb sync. What say yea all?

Vibration/buzzing occurs only on acceleration. Starts to become really noticeable at high rpm. Non existent when the throttle released and clutch in. Getting a tingling in the feet and hands and thru the new backrest. First thing I need to find out is getting my warranty in order. How does one transfer warranty?

^I hear that!

I think I wasted 3 riding seasons on the 02 Nomad we had. This RSV is a much more refined ride. A pleasure in and around towns and stuff. The Nad was a bit of a pig. I always hated the engine noise at slow speeds. I spent a lot of time and effort to get it sorta wind free. Engine guard chaps, wider windscreen, larger lowers. In the end I was wanting a trunk. And then it left me stranded 800 kms from home with a broken tranny. I filled the air shock today. 30 psi. Way nicer handling now. Even with the stock tires. It lifted me in the seat so that I can actually see a little better over the ShowChrome windscreen I installed. It's a bit windy at 150 kph but I don't ride that fast normally Gonna change out the tires here shortly. Need some thoughts on that. How many kms you guys get per tank? I put in 20 liters today @ 276 kms. Isn't the tank 22 liters? There's lots of rpms so I don't believe in wasting them and like to pull hard thru the gears.I get a slight tingle in my feet and hands when I do. Does anyone else get that? It's kinda like a buzz as opposed to a vibration. I also installed a Utopia backrest...God bless the guys who recommended that! It's worth every penny! All in all it was a great ride the missus and I had today. Gerbing jackets are a godsend as well!

Well thanks Keith Rose...Nice to see another Newfie on the board...I hail from Baie Verte myself and my wife is from Glovertown. I'm considering a couple of tight fitting chunks of hard rubber tube to turn on over those studs.

That picture has a shadow. It's not as dark as it appears!!

Only hurt for a moment!

We ride 2 Up almost exclusively. With a combined weight of about350 lbs with gear, whats a good starting point for that rear shock? Do anyone recommend adding air to the fronts?

From the seat....Tight spot those seat nuts....
