well if u want to get artsy and u can see the subject when held to a light... how about stringing them somehow to hang in front of a window http://inhabitat.com/diy-vibrant-curtains-upcycled-from-old-film-slides/ My wife has been wanting to do that with some of my old underwater slides

Road Star Kickstand For Lowered RSV
Globewalker replied to elmicko's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
This old post makes reference to using an old ROYAL Star kick stand (not Road Star). http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=34038 Not sure if the Royal Star has the boot extension or not.. I have only lowered the front so haven't modified my kickstand yet.. -
if its defrost element or thermostat in a top freezer model.. should be faifly easy to do your self if u are handy.. likely just a matter of removing the floor of the freezer to get to it. I am sure there are Youtube videos also this site is real handy.. Helped a friend repair a dryer from their videos .. had the drum out in 5 minutes.. http://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Refrigerator/55---/Refrigerator-not-defrosting

yep like previously stated .. they make hole plugs in various sizes just for this. I used to install (and remove) two way radios in utility trucks.. used them many times. Maybe a Radio Shack or a Ham radio shop nearby? http://www.ebay.com/bhp/antenna-hole-plug?_trksid=p2047675.m2392

Well that is an awesome compilation of electrical information!

yea connect front part first and likely need to drill new hole like depicted in this nice write up someone did http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6365 I bought some (non-OEM) ones off of ebay and had to do similar reshaping and drill new hole to get them to fit right but look good once done good luck

Wife and I went to Key West last summer (flew) 3 nights and 2 nights in Key Largo on way back to Ft Lauderdale Key West Duval street is the main drag (like Bourban St of New Orleans) We stayed here in Key West http://www.edenhouse.com/ http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g34345-d224519-Reviews-Eden_House-Key_West_Florida_Keys_Florida.html Its a few blocks up from Duval Street but not a bad walk and a pretty cool place (small rooms..) As someone else said.. this place is pretty cool and on the beach https://www.southernmostpoint.com/ In Key Largo I think we stayed at a chain hotel. You can ride in the African Queen there and sport ur best Bogart accent http://www.africanqueenflkeys.com/ There is some shore snorkeling in the keys but for good snorkeling you have to pay for a boat ride to the reef.. weather messed us up there.. so do it when you can

+1 on above info... worked great for me.. The model# listed in the great instructions appears incorrect or for a different bike.. but the model Phoneman quoted is correct as well as the vendor link from PrimeBeef - and thats a good price

So..how is the guitar playing coming along?
Globewalker replied to Freebird's topic in Watering Hole
Larrivee makes a dang nice guitar too.. I have a D-03 Larrivee but don't play much anymore.. Would like a smaller bodied guitar like that to sit around with.. might play more.. -
NICE... yes I bought your bracket but had to rig my own spacer .. not as pretty but works

I have had the chrome Wolo for couple of years and its plenty loud.. Not sure there is much difference from the Stebel except it is available and comes in chrome.. and I guess it is a China knockoff.. never really thought about it. I ordered off of HF (should have been the clue eh) but also see them in auto stores around here (although typically black only) Definitely recommend either over stock horn. Wire it with a relay.. plenty of discussion and instructions for that on this forum. Looks like the Wolo Chrome version is all chrome where the Stebel has only some chrome parts .. of course much of it is plastic chrome but it has held up..

+1 on all this.. I have them mounted on my RSTD light bar for 2 years now and no problems.. mounted on blinker light bolt. I did use relay - tapped into lighting circuit inside the headlight housing to drive the relay, so relay is in there and a kill switch is mounted on back of headlight housing.. They are hard to pop the cover off to change the bulb sometimes but doable..

FYI, You can scan all your pages into a word doc and then print to a PDF document using a free app like PrimoPDF just an idea.. I use it all the time, works good

Wow a hard lesson and lucky rider the comments in one of these threads are saying the left behind fork oil from this crash caused another biker to lose it and get hurt bad.. Who is responsible for that kind of cleanup after a wreck? wrecker service? Seems like it would be important on that stretch of road

Yea thanks Brad and Lonna for having us. Very cool place in the woods you have there with an awesome garage. The food was great and plentiful to.. It was great seeing you all again.

Sad news. Wishing for a speedy recovery. It would be pretty difficult to control your reactions when you are on the scene and witness something like this I'm sure, and thinking of the other persons feelings wouldn't be on your mind. But yea we have all been 16 and and I know I had my share of wrecks, but thankfully not like this.
