I noticed several people are selling bikes as parts bikes because they dont have titles.I had a 1981 sr250 that had no title. The last it was titled was in Ohio in 1987. I live in Indiana. Being the privacy act I was not allowed the names on the last owner that had a title.So I tried to go through the Indiana BMV. that was like talking to a wall. The next step was to go to court to get a judge to sign so i could get a title. The cost was $130 just to go in the court room. With the chance the judge says no i did not go that route. Found a place on the internet called International title.. Called the number sent the paper work they requested. Three weeks later I had a registration and plate. This was from Maine. (legal)Transferd plates to Indiana and it was done. Some states dont need a title for motorcycles after 15 years. Just thought this might help someone out...By the way the plates and registration cost me $140 through International title.

I have used a heat gun to warm the sticker and use a plastic scraper to take off the sticker.Use goo be gone for the left over glue.MEK will work but also be careful with that. Also if you need pait off. Such as graffiti or some one painted over paint such as a name . Easy-Off it works great but be careful.

I guess all i want is someone to look over the the bike. I Wanted to make sure that the bike will be ready to go when it gets goodenough to run.I let it run in the garage till it gets upto temp. No wonder i got sick. Thanks 93 for the offer. If i could make it to the street i would ride it today. Too much ice in the drive. Thanks again. Doug

I called my local Yamaha shop to have them do a tune up and check my bike out.(1983 venture royale) They told me they will only change the tires and oil on my bike.I guess i will no longer go there to get parts. I have never thought a shop would turn down work because the bike is too old. Thanks just venting Doug

LED power requirements for you elecrical guru's

Most of your LED lights pull less then a half amp. that is one hole tail light. So it is very unlikly you will ever over load. I use to build truck beds, we went to LED lights on the new chevy trucks. To get the flasher to flash right we had to send the truck in to have the computer reprogramed to get the lights to flash right. Not enough amps were being drawn. -
Thanks: I was more worried over haveing two different oils in the final drive. I am hoping its just old oil.

I finally got the oil plug out of the final drive. I dipped a doll rod down in it and came out with dark brown oil on the bottom and clear oil on top. Is the brown oil from water or just old?I have no clue when the rear end has been serviced. (just got the bike) Thanks Doug

:255:Other then the plug being stuck. I need to measure the level of oil. I do not have a dip stick to measure. Does anyone know the the hight in inches from the top of the fill to the oil. Thanks Doug

Most of your tires for small trailers are 45mph. With a small load limit. 13 should give you a better load limit and and more stable ride. But that is my oppinion. Sorry i was thinking of a larger trailer. I had some problems with tires from harbour freight.

I got ripped off on a cell phone on ebay. Sent phone back and gave negative feed back because he did not tell the truth about the phone. He refused to give me the money back or return phone. All responses was through ebay. Contacted pay pal and they pulled the money out of his account. They also terminated his account.They also gave me the money back for shipping. They will work with you if the seller refuses to help. good luck

Better flashing blue lights. Got a good one on the truck but plan to be on my bike more this summer. (volunteer firefighter lights) -
but my radio only pics up AM so i might replace all.
